Growing up in the west I was of course exposed to the biblical stories. However the more I learn about the Qur'an the more and more I take the biblical stories with a grain of salt.
Ibn Abbas was actually a young boy during the lifetime of the Prophet but he later became a respected scholar, a jurist and Quran exegete. He was paragon of knowledge and discernment. Khalif Omar used to be very fond of ibn Abbas as he used to answer questions which other more prominent companions failed to answer.
What an amazing content ! It’s gonna be specially helpful for revert Muslims. My revert wife including me always watch your contents. Hope you make some more contents about authentic hadiths as I find it very difficult to go through thousands of them after a busy professional life. May Allah bless you ❤
I want to share with you what happened to me yesterday. I was nervous and thinking of taking revenge on someone who hurt me, and suddenly I opened the Qur’an to read a little, and suddenly I received a shocking answer in the Qur’an, as if God was speaking to me and telling me that, letter (Surah Al-Baqara page 41 says God is with the patient ...Had it not been for God paying some people to each other the earth was corrupted But God is of bounty to the worlds
Something similar happened to me twice in the past. I was in very upsetting situation and later in the day I went for magrib prayer and the imam recited both rakahs verses meaning "victory is for those who are patient in this world" and "wallahu i'ndahu a'jrun ad'eem" which was sufficient for my mind to cool down Alhamdulillah.
Islam is the Truth. The purest word of Allah(SWT). It transcends the mind and is for the ruh(soul). The nafs of people have made them commit terrible attrocities. It guides the spirit through the world and helps us find our greater purpose in this dunya (world). As a psychology major, I took deep instrospection and understand the depths of philosophy and psychology and esoteic knowledge. This pursuit let me to greater fall in love with the Quran. Despite hundreds of years, the Quran has stood the test of time.
what do you think of this hadith [do you drink camel urine]? Narrated Anas: Some people from the tribe of 'Ukl came to the Prophet and embraced Islam. The climate of Medina did not suit them, so the Prophet ordered them to go to the (herd of milch) camels of charity and to drink, their milk and urine (as a medicine). They did so, and after they had recovered from their ailment (became healthy) they turned renegades (reverted from Islam) and killed the shepherd of the camels and took the camels away. The Prophet sent (some people) in their pursuit and so they were (caught and) brought, and the Prophets ordered that their hands and legs should be cut off and that their eyes should be branded with heated pieces of iron, and that their cut hands and legs should not be cauterized, till they die.

what do you think of this hadith: Narrated Ibn 'Umar: A Jew and a Jewess were brought to Allah's Apostle on a charge of committing an illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet asked them. "What is the legal punishment (for this sin) in your Book (Torah)?" They replied, "Our priests have innovated the punishment of blackening the faces with charcoal and Tajbiya." 'Abdullah bin Salam said, "O Allah's Apostle, tell them to bring the Torah." The Torah was brought, and then one of the Jews put his hand over the Divine Verse of the Rajam (stoning to death) and started reading what preceded and what followed it. On that, Ibn Salam said to the Jew, "Lift up your hand." Behold! The Divine Verse of the Rajam was under his hand. So Allah's Apostle ordered that the two (sinners) be stoned to death, and so they were stoned. Ibn 'Umar added: So both of them were stoned at the Balat and I saw the Jew sheltering the Jewess.
@@user-we9jc5zf6d Most (even) basic readers of Hadith-know that the false Hadith, or made-up/unlikely ones are not reliable and not in sync with our Final Prophet’s teachings or temperament as Allah the Merciful gave him. The Jewish man, Salam, whom you tried to mention was actually a convert/revert to Islam based on the Prophet’s infinite mercies and being the living examples of the infallible Quran. While most of the Bibles that I have studied have many examples of wisdom, one often notes how much bloodshed, sword-kill, injustices, and slaughter are found the oft-neglected passages of the Bibles-beware, for many later Bibles were changed by man such as the American Slave Bible, or the Levy Satanic Bible of modernity. But here are ancient examples you may not have studied yet: Psalm 37: “The transgressors shall be destroyed altogether; the future of the wicked shall be cut off.” (Which seems to be happening in today’s era). It was also warned of in Deuteronomy the following: Deuteronomy 4:27-28, “And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you.//And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor smell.” (How many take partners with the Divine nowadays)? Ask yourself. Exodus 21:7, “And if a man sells his daughter to be a female slave, she shall not go out as the male slaves”? (Say what? Not found in the infallible Book, the Quran-sounds more like an American practice during the 16th century). Exodus 21:17, “And he who curses his father or mother shall surely be put to death.” (Ask yourself which country is practicing daily violence with guns, man)! Exodus 21:20, “And if a man beats his male or female servant with a rod, so that he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.//Notwithstanding, if he remains alive a day or two, he shall not be punished; for he is his property.” (Say what)?????????? On the contrary, Sir, the infallible Quran, not revealed by misogynistic men, but God alone, we call Allah, says the following: Sura 2:221, “…A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allure you.” And our peace-loving Prophet was known to have freed many a slave in his time-such as the beautiful honored Black believer, Hazrat Bilal, on whom be peace, for his devotion to Allah and his piety.
