- It was a low point for the Auburn football program on Saturday following an embarrassing loss to the 28 point underdog New Mexico State Aggies. This all goes to show how long and unpredictable the season is. New Mexico State lost at home to UMass in Week 0, and then UMass got blown out by Auburn the next week. But later in the season New Mexico State embarrasses Auburn.
We should have had that game versus umass but beating auburn at their place just erases that lose and vs. Hawaii. Also sweeping our 2 rivals this season makes it better also 😊

Coming from an A&M fan who watched the app state game live, I have nothing but gratitude for the auburn tigers.
Games like App St-A&M, Tennessee-Georgia State, or South Carolina-Citadel were at least close. That game wasn't close at all.

Yea, but gamecocks have zero conference or national championships, and have never been relevant, so I am not sure it is the same. Losing to Furman, or the Citadel really is no surprise. I mean, you lost to a bad Navy team in your best year ever.

The only reason I clicked on this video was I stayed with some college students in Albuquerque in the nineties, I was an Australian backpacker at the time. The two things that I remember were they loved Basketball and they hated their losing Football team. Ever since then every time I hear about a New Mexico Football win I feel happy, I like the idea that such nice people can enjoy a sliver of sunshine even if it is just for a brief moment.

As for NMSU, I told my son that the Aggies had a chance in this one, a slim one but a chance, but the way they dominated Auburn was amazing. Kill for national coach of the year and Aggie Up!!

This isn't the same nmsu team though. This is their first 9 win season since 1965. I don't why but I've been watching them this year and every week they're all underdog but they just keep winning. They'll be a dog next week against Jacksonville State too and then the week after against liberty

I'm an Alabama fan. This is for all my Auburn friends and family members who trashed me for saying Bo Nix was a good QB! LOL! I always said the coach should have either recruited to his offensive scheme or formed the offense around Bo!
To be fair, Bo was pretty terrible at Auburn lol. I still can't believe he's on the cusp of a possible Heisman.
Not playing in the SEC helps too. Haynes King is much better at GT because he’s a better athlete than the defensive players. Same for Bo Nix in the pac 12. Harder to escape and buy time against SEC defenders. Less of a skill mismatch between receivers and db’s too.
