    Thank you for the tipps. It would help me a lot if you could make a video which give s tipps how to do full arrangements and not just loops. Because I always get stucked in just making loops...

      Seems like it might be worth creating a couple more videos on that. Also thinking about creating a course that would guide people through the process. But I did talk about that some in this video - czcams.com/video/KrGsZtRdW0U/video.html

    Is there a seperate CZcams channel about the hair?

    3rd tip about tweaking the filter and envelope was exactly what I was thinking. The reminder to turn off the reverb and delay was the best tip for me. I could use more detail on setting up side-chaining.

    Your pro tips were solid! Simple but makes huge impact. Very similar to the workflow I like to follow. A quick tip for others is to record a placeholder clip with a “placeholder” patch and then take your time tweaking later. Sometimes the patch informs your playing but many times the patch can be tweaked/changed to enhance and compliment what has already been played. I find myself in both of those worlds and approaches frequently.

    As far as using a 'Maximizer' on a single patch -THAT would a BIG NEGATORY! The ONLY time I use a Maximizer is in a Stereo Post -& THAT'S for the ENTIRE mix-down. Otherwise you just end-up with oversaturation. Think in terms of: 'Less Is More'. Leave 'holes' strategically in the overall composition so the music can have room to breathe.😎

      Not sure what you are referencing here....? I don't use the maximizer on a single patch. The presets automatically add it to drums. I took it off the drums in the end (maybe you missed that part of the video?).

    Not looked at the side chaining yet it's on the list. I'm sure there's still a few screens I've still not seen yet, there's so much going on under the hood. Macros on pads is another thing that needs exploring and the chord progression stuff.

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  Před 3 lety +1

      Lol..I always do the side chaining, and did that here (later). I guess I should've said 4 tips! Although it's currently 4 tips for the price of 3!

      @@PinkBuddhaAcademy I've never had a bit of gear where you could set it up internally. Its the most modern bit of music hardware i have.

    Great tutorial using the Akai Force standalone. One question. Before the master compression,I like to apply side chain compression on the sub bassline to give headroom to the kicks so everything sounds more naturally. You assign the output of MotherDucker compression to some subgroup (#7). Which tracks are part of that subgroup? Only the bassline?

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  Před 3 lety

      Yeah - that's one way to do it. Could just route everything that you want to be ducked into a sub mix. Then put the mother ducker there. I sometimes do that, and sometimes put the mother ducker on the individual tracks that I want to control - esp if I want the degree of ducking to be different per track. Could easily do that to several different sub mixes as well.

    Hey can anyone help me out. I don't know what I did but all my tube synth and other plug ins sound all off. I pressed something and it changed every damn sound. I reset the machine and it still sounds messed up. Any help?!

    Wondering what your feelings are about the force vs the x if you have any and if you don’t have experience with the x what would you imagine your opinions would be? Please mr pinky. Thank you

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  Před 3 lety

      I mean - the X has some sweet knobs and outputs. But it’s an MPC workflow, so it’s totally different than the Force workflow. I hate the MPC workflow - tried to like it, but it’s just not for me. The Force is like Ableton, and I just like that flow better.

    • @goodchaun
      @goodchaun Před 3 lety

      @@PinkBuddhaAcademy yes. I'm starting to get the idea from your vids and a couple of others that more pads is better than more knobs and the flow.. but i do wonder about whatever comes with the new update that everyone's been speculating about with possibly getting an arranger or whatever.
      thanks so much for your response, i appreciate you

    Pro? As in the USA definition? As in, ker-ching!? Okay, but as far as musical integrity goes, maybe stay away from the Akai presets instead? Death to EDM.
    I like your Infinity Pools album btw.

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  Před 3 lety

      lol...is there a different definition for PRO? Yes - death to Akai Presets. But I'd vote more for EDM to just quiet down a little. Not sure death is necessary! haha
      (and thanks! Glad you have enjoyed it)
