    Hi I’m a new watcher here! 😊
    This is an amazing trick! 😍
    Thank you so much!
    My Birthday is on the coming 24th & I’m gonna try one with a Princess character maybe! 🙈🤩
    Can I please know whether this still works on Butter frosting cakes?
    Does this detailing icing got a special recipe?

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  Před rokem

      Happy birthday! I used my 4 Minute Buttercream which is a butter-based frosting (recipe on www.britishgirlbakes.com) and used the same frosting with different colours for the design

  • @merakilous21

    This is amazing! How soon in advance can I make it? Can I store it in the freezer until ready to transfer?

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  Před 2 lety

      Yes you can! Just take it out about 30 minutes before you use it and let it warm up to room temperature so it softens before you wrap it around the cake.

  • @JulieMLewis
    @JulieMLewis Před 2 lety

    If you have something clear like plexiglass, put the image on it so you can check the progress. Question, how do keep it from cracking when frozen and putting on the round cake?

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  Před 2 lety

      By the time you've spread the final colour onto the design, the rest of the design will have thawed and softened so it will be flexible enough to wrap around the cake without cracking :)

    Did u chilled dinosaur too before sticking?

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  Před 2 lety +1

      No, the buttercream needs to be soft and sticky so that it attaches to the cake
