    HW 97 K
    An idea conquers the hearts of people keen on sports, youthful and young of heart. Weihrauch air rifles offer a lot of pleasure in sports. The underlever air rifle HW 97 K especially developed for field-target and silhouette, well-balanced, easy and smooth cocking. Fixed barrel system with muzzle break, equipped with the proven and world-famous match trigger "Rekord", without sights, handy and elegant stock, especially designed for scope use, high comb, checkered or stippled pistol gr

    Keith Davis - The Air arms TX200 MK3 & the Beeman HW97 K are both extremely nice guns and both have 5 star ratings. The Air Arms has slightly less cocking effort, though.

    I spoke with a fella who is a Weihrauck expert and he says that you can expect well beyond 20,000 shots without issues from these guns. Both guns mechanically are identical the only thing that varies is the configuration of the different models ie stocks,suppressor,barrel length ect

    • @6lr6ak6
      @6lr6ak6 Před rokem

      That's only 40 tins of pellets, you won't get any issues at that, not even 100 tins, there so well made and reliable nothing goes wrong, just a spring change, that's easily done, the 97 is the best rifle Weihrauch make, I've had them all Inc Air Arms, yes 97s the way to go a 95 break barrel are lighter and are a good gun, but ya won't be winning any trophies there, some people think there a bit heavy, well go ahead and lift weights get in shape, you won't regret it as you will have the best of the best. mmm well in my opinion and many others the 97s do seem better in 177, enjoy👍

    I have read numerous comments on here, and other video sites, from fellows who seem to think, that the "bear trap" mechanism on most, if not.. All (these days) "fixed" barrel air rifles should be either "dis-engaged" or even done away with as an "inconvenience" as one "shooter" said in another post.
    My response to these "air gunners" would be... apparently none of you have either (personally) experienced the breach slamming shut while trying to load a pellet, or known a friend who has had that misfortune. Not that many years back, such air guns did NOT have them.... but, now they do... and there is a very definite reason for it... and be very thankful, that your Not one of reasons that the manufacturers decided to design the "bear trap" into the guns.... it really isn't all that much "fun" trying to load pellets into a fixed barrel Air rifle, when your missing either the lower half of your thumb, or index finger.
    Be Safe... and may you always hit, what your aiming at.

    V Mach do a resettable safety switch you can put on it as well as their tuning kit which really does transform the rifle into springer heaven. Pity it isn't tuned from the factory like the Air Arms TX200 considering the price they charge. Although it is still a fantastic air rifle.

    Put my 2 Springer air rifles in storage cocked. Of course my first 2-3 shots were not very powerful. Question: They were stored for 9 months cocked. What do I need to do? Replace pistons or replace guns. Beeman .177, .22 (2 barrels). Benjamin trail .177. Have not shot in 2-3 years since I realized they were put up loaded. Thanks!

    Paul.. like the way you present your videos and I "Think" that I've viewed Most, if not All of your Springer videos and I don't remember you ever doing any on any of the Hatsan models.... Have I missed some, along the way ?? If you, in fact... have Not done any Hatsans... am curious Why not, and if possible... are you able to ??
    IF... you Are able to... could you do some of the more popular models, ie: 125th, 135 (in .22 or .25 or both), perhaps a couple of the underlevers, ie: the 155 Torpedo, 100, 1000X, etc. ?
    Thank you.. we all appreciate your efforts, it helps in our gun buying decisions... and as money is getting "tighter & tighter" these days... we don't want to be wasting money on stuff that, in the long run... really isn't worth it.... and THAT, is where Complete TRUTH, good OR bad.... about various products comes into play. @2:34 Air Arms quality control is shocking. I have a theory that they only put the anti bear trap on it because it's cheaper than getting sued when the latch rod and trigger sear inevitably fail. Gun dealer told me the other day that 6 of the 12 EV2s he sold were returned for leaks. Wouldn't get that with a Steyr or a Weihrauch.

    @rjgreat06 I hear this a lot from friends. Fact is, it will cost about the same to produce a quality rifle regardless of what type of projectile it shoots, or what caliber it is built in. Some .22's cost more than some .30-30's. Do you consider that wrong? Some 28 gauge shotguns cost more than some 12 gauge guns. Is this wrong too? Some BMW's cost more than some Ford pickups, even though the damn BMW can't haul a ton of gravel. Is that wrong? Quality costs what it takes to produce it.

    Nice analysis, but you'd make it yourself and the viewers a lot easier if you'd use the metric system. 2 pounds 8.2 ounces? Sounds a bit medieval, don't it? And there probably exist another obscure unit for the 0.2 ounces (2 "pebbles" perhaps?). Same for "13 fout-pounds of energy". Never considered trying the "joule"?

      Using joules is and sounds medieval. Everybody knows Ft-lbs, its just easier and more useful. You'd make it a lot easier for you and the other viewers to piss off with your sub 12 ft lbs, joule nonsense, redundant metric system and snarky attitude.

      Laz L Listen, Tavern Senses is the one with the "snarky attitude" saying "Sounds a bit medieval, don't it". Now you come along and reply to me. Perhaps you meant to reply to TavernSenses?
