I just got to be honest here: I actually prefer this version over BotW's version of this song. This song just gives me more of a kill or be killed/if you die, the entire world is going to end vibe than BotW had in my opinion.

If Ganondorf's body is still somewhere else, does that not mean that despite Calamity Ganon being beaten in both Age of Calamity and Breath of the Wild, that the threat is not truly gone? Even with the happy ending of Age of Calamity, Ganondorf would still be somewhere waiting to be revived.
I actually have a theory that the "Calamity Ganon" we fight in BOTW1 and Age of Calamity is not the REAL Ganon, but just another one of his Blights. For one, he's decorated with Sheikah Tech just like the others (and even has all the other Blights' body parts and abilities in BOTW1) and the title given to him when you first encounter him in BOTW is called "SCOURGE of Hyrule Castle", just as all the other Blights are called "Scourge". The "THING" we see buried deep below Hyrule Castle in the BOTW 2 trailers is the real deal Ganon.....Or what's LEFT of him anyway.
Remember Demise's curse? It wouldn't matter if it was fake or not, he would still be reincarnated multiple times, the twilight princess ganon that's in the depths of hyrule castle was the one that we ran through with the master sword, but here's the problem, ganon didn't lose blood, sure he had his neck snapped, but that's still survivable, although rare to do so. Ganon was never dead. We just brought him back unknowingly. That's just my theory however. WRITE IT DOWN NINTENDO!
Even if this game’s story isn’t canon; remember that the hyrule we learn about and the characters that are given more time on screen certainly are. This game provides context to BOTW, and getting to know the champions more just makes BOTW all the more sad. I like what they did here.
@@neoshadow3669 the game is not confirmed to be canon, nor is there a confirmed timeline split anywhere except for when it happens in OoT. This is a spinoff game, nothing more. If it takes place in any timeline, it's the one that the OG Hyrule Warriors takes place in and has absolutely nothing to do with the actual mainline series outside of further context to BotW.

A lot of the musical ideas and buildups in this track are so similar to what the Ganondorf Battle theme from OoT would sound like if played by an actual orchestra
From the moment I first heard this track, I've always thought it would be perfect for Zelda's final battle against swirling dark energy Ganon on the bridge outside the Sanctum when she goes to face him alone. The game we got is pretty cool, but I still really would have liked to see the original true prequel story...

I still can't believe how Nintendo hyped everyone for a prequel but gave an alternate story instead. Don't get me wrong, the game is still pretty good and probably the best Musou ever created but man, such an huge missed opportunity ! All they had to do was to conclude the game with Link's death from the Calamity, with Zelda just barely managing to get him to the shrine of resurrection. Boom, 100 years later you got the begining of Breath of the Wild, giving you even more motivation to take your revenge on Ganon.
I actually really like the direction Age of Calamity's story took. I just love the fact that Terrako, the result of Zelda's passion and the thing the King took away from Zelda was the thing that saved an alternate universe

I am perfectly fine with the BotW split because the different outcomes of the Calamity are outcomes I can appreciate but the Ocarina of Time split was just very dumb
The more I think about it, the more I realize I don’t mind the alternate story. I wouldn’t have been nearly as invested in a story that I already knew the ending to. This one kept me my attention because I genuinely wanted to know what direction it was going. Yes, it felt like a fanfiction at times, but it was fun.
Spoilers (minor) who needs the champions and their successors, Link freaking challenged 4 blights on his own. If he has the guts to do that, I think he can solo Ganon gg ez
In this game, the blights are a lot stronger due to the influence of malice that followed terrako back in time. The malice that then corrupted the terrako of the new timeline became the harbinger. From that, the harbinger used its malice to taint enemies and create new ones such as malice guardian. So I feel like this time around, it was good that link has backup since the blights were powered up than they were in BOTW.
Strange fact: one of the most underrated Zelda titles has actually the biggest impact on the timeline which that title being Spirit Tracks.. I'll give you a hint... Malladus and Malice.. Sound similar, right? Just Malladus but Mallus...
The fight in this game was much better than in breath of the wild which is my major complaint with the game since I found thunderblight ganon way more of a challenge, even still botw is my favourite Zelda game because the story from 100 years ago combined with present day and the exploration and shrines make the game so fun But twilight princess ganondorf was the best ganon imo

I find it kind of funny that this is one of my favorite songs in the whole Zelda series, and it’s from a game that isn’t even canon.

i get that point, but its kind of a staple of the zelda series to have different timelines and i guess they took the freedom to do that with this game

It’s a Warriors game. All the bosses are pretty easy, but they take forever thats the thing.
Go back in on very hard, bloodmoon, no rods, runes, or heals.😊 That's a true gamers difficulty, when it is souls hard.
