The build-up to this was just phenomenal. I was actually smiling like a little kid when this scene came up
I kid you not, the Siege of Fort Hateno mission is one of the coolest and best things I have ever played in a video game, and this absolutely amazing rendition of the classic Zelda main theme made it so much better.
This is the type of stuff that makes me proud to be a Zelda fan.
When I first played this stage I did not know keeping the guardians out of the fort stopped the timer so I played and beat the stage by just trying to kill everything as fast as possible and somehow succeeded.
@@loftwingheropon2743 Oh man, seriously? I brute-forced it, barely beat it on easy with my characters over Lvl. 90. Have to revisit it. I was so frustrated. The switch lagging out on the dozens of elec monsters almost made me throw it out the window.

It was this exact moment where I felt all previous carnations of Link united once the sword was pulled. Making me feel invincible
When the main theme plays, there's no one who doesn't get chills
Came back to this after TotK, and... yep, this scene is still the most hype. Over every one of TotK's best moments, this still tops everything there.
And the music only helps to drive that point home.

Saying this when "Remember this name", Zelda's transformation, the rescue at Hyrule Castle, the Master Sword pull, and Final Dive sequence all exist is insane

That must be so fun to play as a brass player. I play only the organ, and some organs do have brass "stops" which imitate the sound of fanfares pretty good. Loud as fuck, combine that with a reverb of a big church ... I get goosebumps even thinking about it.

Music aside, it is a crime that whoever was playing in that cutscene where link got the master sword in AOC was wearing the helmet. :P
For real lmao, I was thinking this too. Such a strong moment for Link finding his individuality, I knew we were getting the Master Sword in this level so I made SURE he wasn't wearing it. That and once he was appointed the Princess's personal knight I kinda felt like he deserved to look less like a normal soldier.

sadly we can't take off the helmet mid level, though the cutscene removing the helmet automatically would have been hype

I would have enjoyed hearing this facing the final boss or any moment in Breath of the wild,But man, they didn't have to go this hard, but I'm glad they did.

I feel as that botw and totk focused on Zelda too much and link is kind of an accessory to her but in aoc I feel like the roles are reversed and Zelda is the one being over shadowed by link and this song is perfect evidence for my opinion
