They must have had so much fun shooting these. Both Kathleen Noone and Michelle Philips are such laid back and funny women that I hope they really enjoyed themselves.
loved this show. so many great actors worked on this show. imo, one of the best serials on tv, and the best long running drama. funny show. always great plot twists that shocked us at many turns. bravo. miss good tv like this.
I agree Knots Landing IS Still my No 1-American-soap from Los Angeles, USA on TV. TV-Executives should it back on TV please; Knots-Landing In 2020 too!!!.
And here I am back again five years later! I loved Michelle Phillips on Knots, and I remember Kathleen Noone many years before this on All My Children! And a curse on all of those a-holes at Warner for blocking Knots on DVD all these years!!!
I always liked the "flute" music playing in the background of one of the scenes. That music was used in a lot of scenes. The writing in the later seasons was spotty but the background music was much better in the last 2-3 years than the earlier years.
Kathleen Noone's Claudia is totally giving me Donna Mills' Abby vibes during the office version of these scenes minus the sensuality. Michelle Phillips's amorally awesome Anne is divine and a treat to watch. I love these two but Abby was the best. Laura was okay but not my fave. Abby vs. Karen or Abby vs. Val was the real deal.
They really struggled in later years to find an "Abby replacement." Anne had the sensuality and comedy, Claudia had the ruthlessness, and Linda had the sex appeal. But Abby had all of those things.
It is a shame. I would watch old episodes of "Knots," "Dynasty" and "Another World" between classes in college back in the early 2000s. Wish there were a soap opera streaming service.
I was never a fan of the Anne character... she was ok, I just never understood her real purpose in the show. Once they started writing her character more comedic, it was much better. These type of KL scenes were fun. KL allowed for some modest comedy. I liked it.
I agree with your comment. Michelle Phillips did provide some modest comedy to the show which I love s lot.I am glad she stayed to the end of the series.
Anne and Claudia never belonged on Knots Landing. Laura and Abby's scenes were so much better.Knots Landing was so stupid in hiring new characters on the show, when they could have kept LAURA and ABBY on the show. This episode is a cheap shot just to keep going. Very Sad. This episode proves that early Knots Landing were the best. The later episodes were terrible. It shows bad acting between Anne and Claudia.
Jason, do you know why Abby (Donna Mills) left the show, I don't, and would like to know. I thought she was great also, and missed her like you did/do. The shows here are from the early '90s I believe. You can tell it's from a distant era now. Anyhow, in defense of the Anne character, I think she was 'designed' to bring some comedy into the series. Where Abby was a shark, and everything went right for her, everything went wrong for Anne, often with awkward, embarrassing results I felt were entertaining overall; especially with money. Try to see it from that viewpoint, and let me know what you think.
I do agree. Watching this clip does remind me of Laura and Abby. Its a shame Constance McCashin was dropped from the show. I love Laura and Abby scenes together.I missed those two so much.
I can't agree. Kathleen Noone was a great actress, and I actually like Claudia. She was a total retcon in Greg's backstory, but she did add some spice things up in the final three seasons.
Anne was absolutely stunning and vicious at the same time.
And also amusing.
They must have had so much fun shooting these. Both Kathleen Noone and Michelle Philips are such laid back and funny women that I hope they really enjoyed themselves.
Since you mentioned Kathleen Noone, was she famous before she Joined knots landing, because I had never heard before that.
@@johndoyle2429 She played a very popular character on All My Children for years
Absolutely💯
Such good actress they both are
Their scenes were ALWAYS hilarious! That technique with their words AND actual thoughts was EPIC!
I love those two together. Kind of reminds me of Laura and Abby together.
Claudia was so NASTY..I am surprised that she did not poison Anne's salad dressing..XD

Knots was the BEST !!!
This was just MARVELOUS‼️
"Oh I think I'll think of something to call you"...brilliant!
One of the funniest lines on the series ☺
Great line, which Claudia says after tossing the garden shears at the ground.
I agree Knots Landing IS Still my No 1-American-soap from Los Angeles, USA on TV. TV-Executives should it back on TV please; Knots-Landing In 2020 too!!!.
I had watched ‘Knotts Landing’ religiously, and I do not remember these delightful voiceover banter scenes.
Michelle Phillips is so, so beautiful.
claudia never has a second cup of coffee at home !!!
I remember these scenes like it was just last week!
And here I am back again five years later! I loved Michelle Phillips on Knots, and I remember Kathleen Noone many years before this on All My Children! And a curse on all of those a-holes at Warner for blocking Knots on DVD all these years!!!
Never watched it, never knew Michelle Phillips was even in it. :o
TELEPATHY AT IT'S BEST...
Knot's still is a classic
I love their conversations inside their heads
You know if Laura were still alive she would put them both in their place.
I agree one percent. Its a shame Constance Mc Cashing was dropped from the show dued to budget cuts.I AGREE 100 PERCENT.
I miss Constance McCashin. I wish they kept her on the show rather than hiring too many new characters to the show.I agree 💯 percent.
Knot's was the best
I miss that show
Wow - I just uploaded the first scene myself, but the quality wasn't this good. Thanks so much for uploading all of these scenes - they were the best!
Do you have Brian Jhonson from season 12..??..X
Yes she would..XD

Hilarious 😂😂😂😂
Jean Grey and Emma Frost
X-Men reference..lol
LOL, totally.
The Italian Stud used to be Jane Fonda's real life boyfriend..XD

omg it's Aunt Bette from Sunset Beach
it sucks soapnet went dark ugh
tnt carried knots landing at one time
Tom Williams....I agree
Knots Landing was the best
Yes they did form 1994-97..XD
@@marvinnewbill6470 I also agree. Knots Landing was my personal favorite nighttime soap.
It is a shame. I would watch old episodes of "Knots," "Dynasty" and "Another World" between classes in college back in the early 2000s. Wish there were a soap opera streaming service.
Throwing shade, before shade was even an item of contention ...
I'd love to lovely-evenings with these 2-mature-attractive-California-actresses from Knots-Landing period too!!!.

Originally, Anne was there to cause trouble between Karen and Mack, but after Donna Mills left, they brought Anne back to be the vixen of the show.
I agree with your comment. Michelle Phillips did provide some modest comedy to the show which I love s lot.I am glad she stayed to the end of the series.
