@@sewbald7259 the C2 is LG’s best price to performance OLED imo. Also it’s known to be a really good tv for gaming and it comes in smaller sizes that other tv vendors don’t offer like 42 inch. Also at 42 inches it’s cheaper rn at $900 compared to this monitor at $1000

LG don't have a 4k oled in 32 yet.
The only options until next year 2nd quarter most likely is the 42 and 48 inch 16x9 wide screens from Asus and LG. The pg42 and 48 and the c2 LG models.
Our the 21x9 ultra wide 34 Inch monitors. I dint like the ultra wide monitors that are 34 myself. They are super wide but only as much vertical screen space as a 27 inch monitor. I wish they would make a 21x12 or something like that
A 16x9 is a great ratio where the screen is just over 50%wider than it is tall but the 21x9 being over 2 times wider than it is tall sucks in my opinion.

I have the 35inch alienware qled and love it. 175h. Probably would have gkt the samsung now sense they dropped the 4k one with 1000hdr. Make sure you get at least 1k hdr rating.

More like too slow. PC gaming had stuck in IPS glow and VA up until 2022. Even switch got oled screen in 2021.

Stop overhyping some nicer colors and viewing angles, that's literally it. You guys are prioritizing colors over performance, I bet if you had the choice between a 60hz 1080p oled and a 240hz 1440p ips you would choose the oled.

Beautiful oled, limited to tiny 27 inch. Their previous ultragear ips 32 inches both 2k and 4k. But 110watt and 200w.

@@MaZaki721 You can do the same with PC tf lol, PS5 requires a power connector - PC requires a power connector. Console requires a monitor/TV cable plugged, PC requires that too. Mouse and Keyboards can be wireless, though keyboards you can route it like a normal cable to hide it......
That is not one of the selling points because that is in the past and honestly is a weird "selling" point to begin with lol.
When you need to charge and play you have to directly plug it into your console like any wireless device....

I went through 3 of these LG OLED 240hz monitors in 2 weeks. Nothing but issues out of the box. Ended up going with a 240hz IPS monitor instead and way happier. Plus got back $500

I saw one pretty much the same was called FlexiSpot desk , but i saw they have one in ikea as well

Just took mine back.. I had issues when switching back and fourth between my lg Oled 240hz and my Oled c2 48” when they were in extended mode. The lg 240hz would turn off and turn back on. The only way I could fix the problem was in desktop mode was to limit the refresh rate to 120hz. Anyways I could never get the issue fixed so I exchanged it for Alienware ultra wide 34” Oled . Wasn’t a fan of ultra wide but I can say this monitor gets brighter and the gloss finish gives better clarity and the ultra wide has grown on me.

The GP950 is semi-gloss and a nice compromise so would be nice if theyre the same

Just got mine today, it's ok, I'm going to keep it. But I don't think it's worth the price difference to a mini led HDR gaming screen, if I had bought one of those I would have kept that too.

I want one so bad. I bought a CX when they released and ever since then I can barely stand to play on my Dell G Sync monitor. OLED really does spoil your eyes. So much so that you will instantly feel like something is wrong when gaming on an LCD monitor/TV.

bro you gotta turn the HDR part on my guy lmaoo, that being said yeah straight out of the box in SDR its horribly dark. Once you turn it to HDR its a night and day difference, brightness basically doubles at least by the looks of it and colors pop insanely better, maybe do some further research before just takin it back lol, was gonna do the same thing and get the Asus but this monitor actually seems a bit better still

@@TheOneGhost12 ah yeah its definitely still low but tbh theres not really any other ones that are any better for the price other than maybe the alienware qd oled which i'd imagine probably gets pretty bright but its a curved monitor, all the other ones get bright but not for very long it seems like. I feel like Lg just took the safe route making them dim as hell to not risk burn in or something
I bought this monitor recently and use it for my ps5 and sometimes when I’m in a game the monitor all off a sudden goes blank and the only thing that fixes it is when I unplug it seems too happen on certain animations on a game any suggestions?

@@jamiewainwright7104 1440 is a big improvement over 1080p especially with 27”+ monitors. For 32” I’d probably want 4k just so I’m not staring at all the pixels. Just sold my 32” 4k Samsung monitor. Resolution was good but it was older and only supported 4k 60 on 1 hdmi port and the colors sucked

That's great but is there scanlines present? I saw online that the higher the fps for a moniter, the more likely you'll see distracting scanlines since the ps5 is only meant to go up to 120fps. I'm not sure if there were other graphical errors nor if the Xbox also faced the same problem(s) on high fps monitors.

What’s with people wanting to have all these colorful lights while gaming there’s nothing better than a dark room with the light of your big 55 inch TV makes it feel more relaxed and like you’re in the game I also have lights set up in my room but I don’t call it a gaming set up I just have them so it looks good and too just relax and be on my phone or just watching some TV or when I sleep cause when I play games I don’t like having other lights distracting me I just want a dark cool room and the light from my TV
