We should do that to patronized our own products it helps our arms industry and we are sure we are not sabotage by foreign supplier it will be the platform for the improvement of the quality of the products and a chance to export the products in a very reliable & durable way..just like the Israel which starts from scratch now a proven reliable arms manufacturer..hope it will sustain infinite period of time.

To train our is good and also train too in different places and direction because we don't where possibly enemy is entrance or from un expected attack or simultanuos attack strategy or massive squadrons of air assets from enemies.. And area's where sometimes may couple of simpatizer moves to destabilizer.. It not wish but when there's have pressure from outside forces.. Is a big infact so we need to train more even our citizens because the situation in the different nations is not far from at the happens in this region once it broke out of complications is goes to change atmosphere and environment suppering even know what is the drastically changed out of peace and order is but mostly disturbances are common in the society that we're needed to protect and prepared early drills and shelters are be ready yet. We don't know what be happened anytime soon in the contested region and in the northern most of the country someday.. Its only concern advise. For National interested.. Readiness..

@@skyant3030 Elisco Tools and Machining closed down because of its own problems.
      ----------------
The production of this firearm started when Elisco Tool Manufacturing Company, (owned by then President Marcos's associate, the Elizaldes) got the license from Colt to produce M16s and its variants for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). During this time common frontline equipment were M14s. Elisco produced and maintained the firearms from the 1970s up until Marcos's overthrow during the EDSA Revolution in 1986.
Elisco produced these ff. M16 variants: the Colt 611P, 613P and the 653P. "P" is the designation Elisco used in denoting their licensed production of the M16.
In 1983 ArmaLite was purchased by Elisco. To summarize what transpired during the purchase:
Difficulties with Colt over M16 licensing prompted Elisco to seek another 5.56mm rifle, and the AR-18 was the only real contender. Inventory, tooling, and machinery of ArmaLite were dispatched to the Philippines, but the production never materialized when Marcos was overthrown in 1986. ArmaLite's operations ceased in 1987.
Armalite's tooling was purchased by an American arms company, Eagle Arms from Elisco in 1994 and was returned back to the United States. Ian has an episode about the AR-10s produced by Eagle Arms.
      ---------------
it produced rifles when there money was flowing. Now that its biggest customer (ph government) is financially broke, it can't find new customers and have to compete with other rifle manufacturers that are better and with no political help.

Most probably could also be use for the whole Armed forces and the Philippine national police and other law enforcement agencies. The Philippines senate must take an action to pass a law for that vital military weapon. That's a must for the senate!. Why because the senate of the Philippines only expert on criticising their fellow government officials. And expert on looking for how they can get huge commission from their proposed projects.
