i was lucky enough to support bob at his 100 club and arlington gigs last week-i have to tell you-he is one of the NICEST guys on the planet.just SUCH a top bloke.
I fail to see how Bob Log III is not the most famous person in the universe.
This guy is a whole whole box of incredible sent to man to inspire awe and some.

@DaniBeauchamp He is well worth the airfare or busfare you might have to pay to see him live....it is a "must do" before you die. I had the double good luck of seeing him and Cicada Omega playing on the same stage. I heard he lives in Australia and only ventures to the U.S. once ayear. It may be a myth but it's a show that will be ensconced in your psyche forever.
I just met this cat and talked to him at Middle East in Cambridge tonight (where he played). Cool guy. Real down to earth.

@salsburysteakjr ... Yes, sans helmet. He was enjoying some good Indian cuisine in bar after the show. We got there late (my friend knew him) and he was already done playing. We all had a couple beers and talked and then word came that his vehicle was about to get towed, so that was the end of that. Out the door he went.

@TikiLaPeruche The tuning here is G-G-D-G-B-D as far as I can hear. The first G is of course one octave lower than the next. It's hard to play the riffs as clean without an archtop guitar though. The Silvertone is awesome, but pricey.

Saw this guy back in 2004 the day after John Peel died. He was supporting Franz Ferdinand at The Apollo in Manchester. Think I was the only person there who knew his stuff from Doo Rag. My mate fuckin hated him, but I thought he pissed all over the main act.
