F1 2014 was the first Codies F1 game I owned after watching Aarava play it back then. Now Aarava brings me back to it. We've come full circle lads

Every time the AI tried to overtake on the inside they backed out massively. Dropped 100 meters behind.
The most annoying thing was the fireworks all race long 😂😂
There's one other thing you missed regarding all the things they left the same between 2013 and 2014: they didn't bother to fully adjust the driver performance stats. Even with him having a 0.84 main stat, Vettel somehow always performs on par with the Mercs, as if they only bothered to change a few easy-to-find values for him without accounting for all the others that made him monstrous in 2013. Button's inexplicably terrible too despite having decent stats. In general I have no idea what they've done with the database for 2014 because everything's all over the place. Williams still has a Renault engine in the game files, one of the scenarios is accidentally set to the wrong difficulty...
As for 2015, I hope you'll at least take its season mode 1% seriously. Maybe 2%. As much of a joke as the mode otherwise was, it did have something that the 2016+ career modes didn't have: dynamic voice lines from Crofty and Ant. Vettel doing well in 2014 while Ricciardo's struggling? Yeah, even if you're not playing as either driver they're going to point that out with unique lines for that specific case, and they've accounted for plenty of others as well. For 2014 in particular they also couple that with stuff that pertains to the events of the real season, like Vettel signing for Ferrari. Their lines do a much better job of accounting for the interesting things that are happening during the season, and considering how repetitive and samey the lines for the 2016+ career modes are, this is something that surprised me a little.

Idk if anyone noticed this, but the first 4 emails you received in career mode were the EXACT same in every game from 2012-2014. The only thing that changed was the teams if you chose a different team in each game. Not even the order changed!

I don’t know for whatever reason I played this game from 2017 to the end of 2018 and did a parody today using it.
Not only were modders able to put the 2013 cars into the game, they were able to put the 2013 tracks in as well!

Apparently, they intended to make the new look (as of 2014) F1 to be reflected on the then next generation of consoles (Xbox one, PS4 etc). However, they underestimated the task of getting such cars moving, let alone at race speed on the new platform. I think it [F1 2014] was a victim of commercial pressure to get a game out for the purpose of the franchise
I remember a bug on this game for a few releases if you pressed the default KERS button in 2014 then your driver will try to push a button on the wheel

I spent the most time playing this out of any f1 games because i was a free to play guy and with this game i was able to play coop with my friend for free. 😀
F1 2011 mobile was the best because you could take rascasse at 300+ km/h, for that matter, you could take any circuit at 300 km/h constantly. I literally clocked 48.6 seconds around Australia in a red bull.

I started playing Codemasters' F1 games in 2016 with F1 2014 since F1 2015 was not available on Xbox 360. I had to choose between F1 2013 and F1 2014 but for some amazing reason Xbox decided to make F1 2013 150 Rand more expensive than F1 2014, therefor F1 2014 was my first Codies F1 game.
When you use the Mclaren or Mercedes at Bahrain the car is black, instead of silver.
