Such hypnotic, ethereal sounding music. Combined with Donna's unmistakable tone and delivery this is pure joy to my ears. Love the vocal effects. It adds an unexpected texture but does not distract in any way from Donna's gift.
Donna Summer a thousand reasons for me to love you ❤️👑l’m sure that l was born to be gifted by this wonderful and power voice! Love you so much Donna!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏👑
I’m am not a fan of auto tune /voice box , but the song is a very sexy , hypnotic beautiful song. She hasn’t recorded a song like this since the 70s. I think towards the end, she was limited on her voice . Notice that her voice has been distorted and manipulated in her newer recordings. It saddens me, cause I think she is , hands down , one of the greatest female singers of all time . Not to mention a beautiful person outside and in. Only celeb passing that made my cry
She’s recorded many hypnotic sexy songs in the 80s, 90s, and the 2000s. Her voice was undiminished. The vocal processing is just producers playing around, trying to strike a contemporary. I see why she didn’t release this one. She was just having fun here.
@@karimbennett5651 i guess i meant sexy or erotic when i said hypnotic. I have all her music and besides “ im a fire”, nit much of the sexy “hypnotic” songs.....in my opinion. I also know the auto tune was for effect but i never liked it. Towards the end of her life, i noticed, like all great singers, she didn’t have that power anymore. That being said, she was still a better singer than most. I saw her a couple of years before she past and she did give a great concert. Im actually very sad about her dying.
@@rgrndu your right about the cancer. Its also a natural thing that happens to singers. Listen to Streisand , madonna, or ross in their heyday and then listen to their latest song . All i was saying is its too bad , but that is how it goes. I think it is more noticeable with female than males
I think this is very experimental. Maybe it was never intended to be released. Of course she would NEVER need Autotune.....EVER! They did use some here and there on the Crayons album. That album was overproduced in places. She doesn't need all of that processing and layering, but these days, if you don't process someone's voice no one will listen. That's what's popular now, and it's sad. Very nice to hear her again no matter what!
At first I was like... "Donna would never write about this subject or use Auto-tune." However , the unmistakable voice could only belong to Donna Summer. Great song! I wish they would release it along with other unreleased music. Her last officially released song " La Dolce Vita" is one of my favorites.
THE AUTO TUNE WAS NECESSARY FOR THIS KIND OF SONG TO CREATE AN EFFECT FOR RELAXATION AND STYLE..... ITS HOW IT NEED TO BE DONE.... OTHERWISE IT WOULD LOOSE THE STYLE AND FLOW...... EVERYBODY KNOWS DONNA SUMMER DONT NEED ALTERATION TO HER VOICE. ...SHE IS THE VOICE AND THE QUEEN OF ALL MUSIC AND STYLE
Never, Nathan "will never release another Donna track".... he wrote many with her and has lots in his private archives, but had a fallout w Giorgio Moroder I believe, happened when " La Dolce Vita" was released with Giorgio Moroder adding his bit and sharing credit w Donna on the official "Love To Love You Donna" some years ago. Just found out Nathan not such a nice Christian either with all this political stuff going on. He is ANTI lots of things and quite JUDGEMENTAL.
@@raelsandoval571 He said he'd album's worth of material with her but no one wants to release it. He didn't fall out with Moroder. It was just lying on a shelf until he put his 'oh dear she's dead' bit on it. Then it was worthy of a release on that 'fabulous' koff-koff..... 'scuse me, Remix Album. Her Estate is treating her as a Legacy Artist and doesn't think anything new/unreleased will sell. Hope your saving your pennies for all the coloured vinyl reissues....... I won't be.

Inspired by Sade? This would have been a hit if it had been released. Don't really enjoy the autotone effect on her voice, but it's still Donna Summer, so I love it.
It's from Nathan DiGesare czcams.com/video/2D_FIB68cp8/video.html One of the tracks from the album's worth....['s ?] of unreleased material. That no label wants to distribute.
First of all: Donna Summer was one of the greatest vocalists of all time and would have never subjected herself to Autotune! Not sure why someone would post this as it's truly shameful and a travesty of a great artist. Shame on you!
@@pressplay7918 Exactly. She liked the creative vibe. It didn't mean she needed autotune, she liked the effect it had. Experimental. Nothing wrong with that.

Just another example of her limitless talent!!! Miss her dearly.
Donna Summer like you’ve never heard...Amazing!
This is beautiful. Donna was so talented and her vocals on this are mesmerizing. And yes this is Donna Summer Voice.

She died of lung cancer. That would effect her vocal strength for sure.

You are absolutely right, processing of her voice was a crime and it spoiled everything.
First time I've ever heard AutoTune used on Donna Summer vocals ...
love it.

LOVING YOU ALL OUR LIFETIMES DONNA!
Hey wahts the deal. This mix is much better than the other uploads. Her vocal is so up there on this version. Is this an actual real release?
According to her co-writer, Nathan DiGesare, the original track is about 12 minutes long. Maybe one day we will have an official release.
@@pressplay7918 This version is nice anyhow. Your version seems to have the best audio quality. I wonder who put this together?
Where did you find this
Will we ever hear the full version?

It reminds me of Grand Illusion from The Wanderer album !
Does anyone realise there is a version of this over 12 mins long?
Ethereal!!!!
I can hear why it didn't make the cut.
February 22. 2022. (Croatian time). Mom, you know i HAVE to TRY to KEEP DOING THE PROGRAM.
Does anyone know when this song was recorded?
It was recorded during Donna Summer's CRAYONS sessions circa 2008.
Thank you! I have that album. There are some great songs on there and it's as eclectic and colorful as the title suggests (and as wss intended).

If donna summer wanted to use autotune it would at least have worked
Not Donna Summer 100%
Sade.
That’s no Donna Summer ... probably that silly guy DJ who use the same name.
Of course it's Donna!! Despite some autotune added, it's her unmistakable voice.
of course, it is. Nathan Degsare wrote it with her

Keep in mind was a DEMO form, never intended for any release as is, AM SURE she was definitely experimenting, as she did all over her Crayons Album.
I LOVE DONNA A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ......WITH THAT SAID, THIS SOUNDS HORRIBLE!!!! I can't believe people actually like this.
