@@seandalt Thank you so much!
Awesome !! Great tips :) you think my canon 15-45mm would suit this type of shooting better than my 55-200mm telephoto lens ? I’m shooting a canon m50. Still find the sharpness of the 55-200mm way cripier but from a certain distance ofcourse. Not sure if this would be a fit for portrait indoors?
In indoors you should increase the ISO if you have a full frame sensor you can increase it to 3200iso but if you have a crop sensor limit it to 1200iso i don't really know if the canon m50 is a crop or full frame but your lenses are good enough for taking good photos just practice more and try finding a good composition on the subject
Great video! Just wondering if you have a video about choosing a camera? I am a beginner but want to purchase a good camera. Thanks!
Hey, thanks for commenting! I don't have a video on this yet but it's one I'd like to make. I'll see if I can get my hands on a few good beginner cameras and I'll make a video about it.
I recently bought the Canon 5D mark III. It came out in 2012, and was 1 step down from their flagship camera. I bought mine for $1,500, but I live in Australia, and camera gear is super expensive hear (like, double US prices, I swear!).
would love to make money with my photos! what about nature photography? is there a market there?
There is, but I think it is more difficult. You can shoot products in nature environments for brands that want that look. If you're good enough you can shoot for bigger publications and magazines. Takes awhile to get there!
good content!
Thank you!
So helpful! I’ve watched a few of these types of videos but you shared even more insightful tips like having a simple contract. Thank you! 🙌🏼📸
Yes I will send out to my 15 SpyBook friends who all live 6-12 hours away
is underwater photography profitable;
definitely
the housing for the camera is expensive to rent/buy but it’s definitely a great niche to get into. might be hard to find leads at first but maybe try talking to pool companies, lifestyle beach brands, etc.
It certainly can be if you find the right clients!
Why do photographers and people think you can only make money from taking photos of people, weddings, graduations and other boring things like that?
Just the easiest way to get started for most is all. Certainly not the only way
