As requested, I'm posting a video that shows my body positioning while I ride through some technical terrain. Riding up these rocky river beds takes a lot of balance, throttle + clutch control, and proper body positioning. I try to describe some of these things for you guys in the narration throughout the video. I hope you enjoy it!
As a beginner rider, I can't thank you enough for your videos. Your instructions are so clear and easy to understand. I've gotten so much better since watching your videos. Cheers, from Australia.
I'm not saying you're the best but your definitely the most skilled female enduro/trail/technical rider that I've ever seen.
Thanks Matt, that means a lot!
Without A Doubt !!!
I agree..
For sure. And more, she's the smartest rider I've ever seen. The way she breaks down all of her technique is incredible.
Wow...pretty friggin' awesome. Have to be honest...if I were to come across some of those obstacles, I'd probably have to get off the bike, curl up into the fetal position and have a nice cry.
Haha well thank you! With more and more time on the bike, bigger obstacles will seem less and less intimidating! I always love riding a trail that I used to think was insanely difficult or even impossible and realizing it has now become a piece of cake. Such a great feeling :).

After watching this I should just sell my dirt bike and take up model railroading, or maybe get a fish tank. Thanks Meg.
Hahaha well I'm glad you liked it!
Lmao funny
why she showed you how. just practice she made me more confident
😂
@Cool how do you get that out of my comment? i have watched and listened to many ''teachers'' and gotten less out of it. Meg is a natural teacher. no 'exaggeration'' go ride a dirt bike, you are UNCOOL
megs braap u crazy "Guys: nah lets turn around Megs: nah we just gotta wheelie earlier we got this"
Wow, you were killing those rock sections. Well done.
Thank you!
Total respect. That climb up the rocks on a wheely at 4.26 is crazy. It is amazing to see you and the bike go up that wall on the rear wheel. I would just say "C'est Magnifique "
From you POV footage I knew you could ride, but seeing you crush section after section of rocky, messy, wet, technical chunk like that is amazing. You are one hell of a rider! Keep that throttle twisted.
Goldenmulletman Thanks man! That means a lot 👊👊.
I'm 63 from New Mexico. I was a bit intimidated about touching the ground on my TE300 until i watch you video on short people. The fear of falling on rocks, keep me from testing my abilities and becoming a better rider. I said to myself in a loud voice snap out of it and to hell with gravity. Then i felt a slap, wake up. I'm a big man in my dreams. After all it's about having fun and remembering the good and bad times riding. Hey, Thank You and Happy Trails
I’ve been watching your videos for the last couple years. I really enjoy them. You were always a good rider for a girl. I mean a really good rider. Now your getting up there with the best of the men riders. You have shown us that women riders can compete with men riders. I like that. I also like the fact that you want others to follow your foot steps. This past year you have Improved so much. I’m really happy for you. Your a true inspiration to all of us Meg. Thank you! Can’t wait to see you compete in Erzberg Rodeo.
This is an awesome perspective and commentary! It is really hard to find someone that gives us shorter riders great examples of working the bike on technical terrain. Thanks so much for putting this together.
I come here from "On Her Bike" as she plugged your stuff. Good effort luv! I just moved to Canada 12 months ago and I can't wait to go trail riding. I've mostly been racing at the sand track or Ice racing. If you try this in England you would have run over 4 dogs, 5 anti-biking traps and had at least 2 old people wave a broom at you. On the positive side there's always a burnt out car or some fly tipping for added trail difficulty. #Scenic
Always a treat to see your videos, you rock! Really appreciated seeing how you position yourself and how you're constantly moving. I learned a lot from you today, can't wait to put it into practice at McNutts. Thank you. Merry Christmas to you and yours
love the videos megs, ive learned a few of these over the years the hard way, but when you break down all of these in slow motion and thoroughly explain them its definitely something we can all focus more on when riding
I'm glad you liked it man! I try to make the video in a way that I think most people can absorb and understand the information as much as possible.
the flow of the water will show you the deepest, and shallowest places. i've spent a lot of time in a canoe on rivers, where reading the water and river bed is a very useful skill to have. the flow over the waterfall on the right corresponded to the deeper place in the bowl. the shallowest parts will generally be where the water isn't flowing over the river bed. i was looking for the deeper places in my canoe, but the information the river gives you can be used however you need it. great vid, as always.
Great video & hello from Texas! Momentum and body position are key. clutch , throttle & rear brake finesse come with a lot of practice. I love how you just point and shoot the bike, like an enduro sniper. I’ve been riding since the early 80’s, all recreational riding. No matter how long we’ve been riding, we can always learn something from other riders. Love the videos, keep them coming.... braaaap!
Just binge watched your whole channel today after seeing you mentioned in a "Cross Training Enduro Skills " video. I am only 5'6" and thought it was the height of these bikes holding me back... It isn't, it is me holding me back! What a bloody wonderful channel you have created. Thank you for showing me that it is me that needs to adjust! :-)
I have just got myself a Beta Alp 4.0 for lanes, I am not an enduro rider like yourself, but it is fantastic to see someone with so much love and enthusiasm for getting mucky! :-)
Great to see you going UP hill in the really rocky clip where you showed your fails. It gave me a lot of comfort knowing that someone of your skill level dumped on those. I tackled an old mining road that has eroded for likely a hundred years. It was very difficult to walk it. I was riding an old DR650, the first off road bike I've owned. I was also a novice, very much so. I had only gotten the bike a few weeks earlier. It was scary as hell and I got some bruises but I made it a few feet at a time. I always wondered how a skilled rider would have taken it.
Thanks for the vids!
I am 65 years old and have been riding since 16. I still regularly subject myself to this kind of torture on my KTM 300 EXC and I intend to do so as long as I’m physically capable of doing it. Your videos are getting better every day and I started to enjoy them so much that I finally subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work. By the way I’ve been in water a few times too and nothing I hate more than water in my boots and stinky riding gear if not cleaned and dried properly.
I love watching these. So positive. Makes me try things while riding.
Beautiful control in keeping your front wheel light most of the time and thats just one thing I've picked up. Very good riding !
Really inspirational….you gave me confidence to learn a few things I thought my bike was too big for…working on them still but I can see now, it’s all finesse.
Awesome video Megs, keep them coming!
Respect! Thanks again for the tip Meg! That rocky hillclimb @1:00-1:20 you made that look like a piece of cake! You are a BADASS !
you got me. I can honestly say, your fearless. time to take my 2016 te300 out for a spin. thanks Megs, your very inspiring.
Thank you for this! Just yesterday a buddy and I were struggling to get up some very rocky trails. I'm going to practice your technique so I can improve. I also showed my wife your videos. She's just getting into dirty biking. I think your videos will help her develop confidence. Keep up the great work!
Logan Lexow No problem Logan! I’m so glad the vid helped and I really hope your wife enjoys riding!
OMG that was freakin amazing, I loved it 😍
Why people gave you thumbs down I have no idea. So inspiring. Makes me wanna try harder stuff when we're out on the bikes.
Outstanding riding, definitely helpful to see an expert talk us through body positioning and throttle/clutch control while viewing it in a 3rd person perspective.
Short leg struggles 😆 😆 i feel your pain but love you videos. You are my go to after years of not riding and just got my son good with basic clutching and shifting. No more stalling it out for him. Keep giving the videos and we will always watch and rewatch as we pratice more and more. Thank you for helping us height challenged folks
Complete badass, I admire the effort and willingness to try and concor
You are such a Bad A! I've been showing your videos to my wife and oldest daughter. 4'11.3/4" and 4'10.5" respectively. Don't leave out the fraction of inches with them!!! I'm hoping to show them how they can ride full size bikes. I'm saving to get something they can learn to ride on. :) Keep the awesome videos coming. You are an inspiration for all!
Thanks man! I'm glad you and your family have been watching and enjoying the vids! I hope you get them a bike soon :D.
Great video Megs! Watching the slo-mo of how your changing body position thru the terrain is very helpful, and of course picking lines. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
I'm glad to hear it was helpful! Thanks for the great feedback :).
:-) Merry Christmas!
"It's that damass rock". Great stuff Megs. Inspiring.
Always enjoying your clips, thanks for posting...

Amazing video and very educational! Love your skills Meg!
You've got mad skills on technical terrain. I've got long legs but still tip over frequently. Great video.
the helmet cam just doesn't do it justice, great to see from a bystanders position. great riding Meg!

Thanks for wathing! ☺️👊
That waterfall section looked tough! It probably would have psyched me out
Amazing skills... following you from the Caribbean
Really nice break from the helmet cam!!!! Vids worth a thousand words. Thanks!!! =]
Brandon Bayley Thanks man!
I wish you could teach me how to ride half as good as you. Incredible skills. You rock
Nice work in the waterfall section. I think the wheelie on the hill climb over the rocks is qualified Jarvis Style material. Nice video.
Ben Yelle Thanks Ben! That means a lot! I really look up to Graham.
This hot little number puts me to shame and iv been at it for a while granted i dont go out as much man i love meg brapps
Wow you're amazing rider. Going up the rocky section front end up making professional riders take notice.
Anna Mills Thanks Anna! 👊👊
Thank you for this. As a 5'6" dude, I affirm: the short leg struggle is real! You make it looks easy, and I know it isn't. But I appreciate your detailed breakdown. Though it was confusing: you say you "throw your weight forward", in the video, you don't appear to move. Then I realized, that's what it would *feel* like. But in the later clips, I see the hip movement. Almost looks like "posting". I guess it's kinda the same idea. Keep your upper body stable, let your lower body move free.
Wow you are an amazing rider Meg, how long have you been riding for, I'm a new rider, I'm 37 years old and started a year and a half ago, I'm getting better little by little but I'm far away from your level, congratulations, I'm a new subscriber and love your videos, thanks 😊
Awesome, thanks for the great riding tips, keep it up👍👍💪💪
Awesome stuff, top work 👍
Awesome megs..great job
Holy hell you’re killing it.
That’s super impressive riding. I couldn’t do any of that!

The short legs struggles I can defo relate to :) Love the vid!
Glad you liked it!
Great work 🤙 very inspiring 🤘
27” inseam I can relate but like anything in life you adjust. Some of things you do HELPS just have to practice. Thanks
Yep! There is always away around any hurdle. Short legs included!
Good done Meg!
☺️👊
