Thanks so much for doing this. My first wife was diagnosed with MS in 1996 when she developed optic neuritis. Unfortunately, we were not married at the time and did not have health insurance to have an MRI done. After we were married, we had our first child and she had her first MS attack. She was then officially diagnosed and started treatment with expensive monthly shots. This went on for many many years as we bounced from one medication to another. She finally had to quit her job and go on Social Security disability around 2012 shortly after she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. We lost her to brain cancer, in September 2016 approximately 18 days before her birthday. MS is a horrible disease and I my thoughts and prayers go out to your mom and family as she fights it.

The race was awesome, and it was great to see the turnout and support from everyone in the stream. There were large stretches where you were absolutely cooking on the track. 🔥
