  • Disassembling, moving, and reassembling the play set.
    15 months earlier I made (in my opinion) an even better time lapse video about it's construction and surprise introduction to our daughter. Check that video out here: • Skyfort II Play Set Bi...

    Me and my grandpa are literally doing the same thing today with the same swingset. Helpful as far as the which pieces to take off for a quick move !

    I’m really impressed! We have the same swing set and due to a tree needing to be removed, it’s now in direct sun all day and the kids aren’t wanting to play on it as much. I’ve been contemplating how annoyed my husband will be if I suggest moving it to a different part of the yard so it will actually get shade most of the day. This might convince him it won’t be impossible. Thanks for sharing!

    This was helpful to me. I see I could not take apart and move a play set unless I had several people and a large truck.

    I really wish there was a more instructional video of how to take down one of these. With suggestions on tools etc.

    Looking to purchase this play set, one of my concerns was moving it when we get a different home in the near future. I just wanted to say thanks for posting this. It helped me decide to buy this set today.

    I'm considering moving one of these, but concerned about the safe t lock hardware. Was it difficult to take apart?

    Hey how has this held up over the the years? I just purchased this for my son for Christmas, but read some reviews that weren't too promising. What did you think of it and what have you done to maintain it? Thank you for the videos.

    Did the roof sections get removed becaise of the weight or was it more to cut down on the size for the truck? I am moving this same model set over the weekend and took it all apart like you do here but left the roof sections on.

    • @nwear
      @nwear  Před 6 lety

      Mostly for the weight reduction. I didn't know how much weight the movers would handle so I told them I'd make it as light as possible for them without taking the main structure apart. Yes, now that I've seen their method and that the truck was big enough, I would have left the roof on. Thanks

    We have this exact set and I figured west have to leave it when we move in few months. But your video says it's possible with only a little disassembling! Any tips or tricks you can share to make it a smooth move?
    Thank you!

    • @nwear
      @nwear  Před 5 lety

      Yes, you can leave the roof on if there is room in the moving truck. That was the hardest part to disassemble. Other than that my tip is to have some muscle to help you out! Even on the dollies it is heavy

    What tools were used, I'm getting one from someone and I'm trying to go prepared.

    • @nwear
      @nwear  Před 5 lety

      The playset comes with some wrenches and a few bits that fit a drill. They're specific sizes for the bolts so take a drill and hope the person you're buying it from has the bits and wrenches

    We didn’t have a moving truck, just a pickup. And we only needed 2 people. Me and my friend loaded it in there

      It's been about 5 years but I don't recall using any tools other than a drill (and some extra batteries for it). The bits needed came with the set.
