History of this world:
This survival series started on July 10th 2014 on the MCPE (Minecraft Pocket Edition) App. I had quite a few MCPE videos before this series that I recorded and edited on the iPod 4th Generation. When I finally upgraded to the iPhone 5, this was when I wanted to start a Minecraft series that will last forever! I started this series on the iPhone 5 and eventually upgraded again to the iPhone 6 Plus for more power on Ep.66. MCPE on the iPhone 6 Plus served me well for a long time until the game started updating more and became even slower. This was until I bought myself a gaming laptop (Lenovo Y700) and transferred my ongoing MCPE world to Windows 10 Edition on Ep.154. Till this day, we are still surviving and thriving with builds in this world and plan to do so far into the future!

Long plays generally are, well, long videos with no cuts (usually with no commentary, just Minecraft music in the background) focusing on a particular task - like building a house, or working on a farm, or something to that effect. It's supposed to be relaxing for the viewer and some use it to help them sleep, or otherwise just calm down and release stress.
I could honestly watch 100 back to back episodes of you updating/adding to the house

You can un-glow signs with regular ink sacs
Also for the vines, you right clicked it before you removed the bottom vines, you have to right click the bottom-most vine with nothing under it iirc

I know it would mostly just be for looks but it would be a cool thing to have in the city and the residents are gonna need entertainment! Great episode as always Dallas, I've been here since the 200s and I haven't missed an episode since!

Maybe do a small tour like every 50 episodes of what you’ve build in the episodes building up to the 50th video, and do a grand tour every 100 episodes, I think thats less work to do everytime

I think it would be interesting to store different items around your house. For example you store TNT, rockets, gunpowder in your attic. This also would give a reason to come up to places where you normaly wouldn't come that much.

I think the trap doors work great on the target block. Just position them to flag out when the target is hit.

i think it’s amazing that your bringing me along on this little journey that know one will ever know about years from now. Even though it’s infinitely special and unique to me, like a little special sand grane in a desert. It’s makes me think, reflect and relax, and maybe listen to another human, out there living a different life, these videos are existential to me, because they bring a moment to life and of life that no one will ever know, and it’s sad, but beautiful. I hope you see this comment. I’m glad for these videos, and that you talk honestly and innately in them, maybe if you can talk more about yourself, why you things, what you like and why you like things, it makes the videos more meanful and connecful. Trimming the end of vines only works with the cave vines (the ones with the glow berries), trimming a berry will drop it, but trimming an empty cave vine will keep it from growing.

yes you can deglow signs! Just use a regular ink sac!
here's an idea for a new donation wall ! the new SSC production facility might be in need of a new super ai data server room like the previous one where you update your robots software. I was looking at the eagle eye movie with Shia Laboeuf and the AI room in it is so awesome !!! a big circular room with golden block all around where you can display donor name with antivibration water on the floor with path to go on a spherical altar/ai core where you keep the question of the day book or villager book to keep track of all the name !

I use lowfi videos to fall asleep and would gladly switch that over to long play videos if Dallas did them. Especially if there was a whole playlist

If you think about it, skulk is the Minecraft version of Halo's Flood, it consumes everything living or intelligent and turns it into biomass for experience and knowledge
You have to right click the end of the vines for it to cut, this works on java, not sure if it transfers to bedrock!

Not sure if this is considered long play but the first time I saw Minecraft was the beginning of CallMeKevin's first let's play and I was hooked. No cuts, just straight up playing the game and I enjoyed every second of it

duuude I'm so hyped for the new dogs ;___; I think they went about it in the best way possible with all the different breeds of wild dogs! I never even thought about it for some reason?? I just always went with everyone else about dog breeds but I felt like tons of people would have been upset that their dog's breed wasn't added. So this is like the best solution imo!

Trimming works for most things like the nether vines, and glowberries but does not work on normal vines unfortunately.
It could always be worse and it will always get better, keep moving forward

The vine snipping trick only works on Java. I believe it also works with glow vines and the crimson vines. Not sure about the warped ones though.

You should try vintage story, it’s another block game but it’s a bit more immersive and detailed where it has chiseling features and food that expires…it is a bit more complicated than Minecraft, but nonetheless it’s fun

Most longplays have no commentary, but I prefer them with commentary. I like hearing what the thought processes are of whatever choice has been made. (I may be in the minority on this though)

The clipping with sheers only works on glow berries as far as I'm aware, at least that's the case in Java.
The right click doesn’t work on vines but does work on glow berries
CQOTD: It's been a while since I have checked you out, but have you heard of Vintage Story yet? It's quite similar to Minecraft, though it has a much greater focus on survival. It has interesting mechanics like seasons, food spoilage, interactive crafting (clay forming, smithing, knapping) and much more.
