I think the problem with the filters is that you put a "Lava bucket" inside a filter specifically looking just for lava buckets, whereas if you put the lava bucket right onto the filter, the smart pipe would realize "Ah it needs lava". Just my theory tho I never actually played around with smart pipes

I got to the part where you were looking at the liquids and mentioned that there were multiple types of liquid chocolate and got an idea. You totally need to build a chocolate factory! maybe a Willy Wonka style building with lots of moving parts and Spinny bits and various items it could be used to look like candy or treats
That first train looks quite beautifull with that color patern! Also ideas for names kind off in style of old names given to steam locomotives:
For liquid train ,,Tankin Thomas"
And for personal cargo train: ,,Haulin Hector" or ,,Silver Beard" due to its color.

The personal delivery train might be smart to make the Nether Express like you’ve mentioned, it’d make the process of getting everything probably a LOT faster
Dont use the filters on the filter pipe. just use the buckets on the filter pipe. u cant send more then 1 fluid at a time through a filter pipe. so u only need to filter an output or input. never filter between them. i tryed it with tinker contruct for the molten ores. i had a tank for every ore. like molten gold or iron. I did also had the problems u had and figured out u only need to filter an in or out put, never between them. like on the pounder it shows it on a output. filter is chocolate so it will only pull chocolate not the milk. that go same for an input. if its set on milk it wont put water in the basin. so u can let multiple liquids go through a pipe, but not through a filter. the filter is only for in or output.
Was going to mention that. I'd also add fluids to the personal train, you never know when you're gonna need honey at the base or extra lava
i wonder if there's a way to make it so liquid filters will pull out liquids in order of what's on the list or if they'll fix that. sounds like a bug or flaw to me. i think how it *should* work is that if you have water and lava in your train and want to store it, and water is on the filter first it should pull water first then pull lava next until it's empty or the tanks are full.
@@Doolaidman i hope they will change this, but i couldn't use the (item) filters for the pipe be course it will look for the bucket with the liquid and not for the liquid itself. u cant pull the liquids from JEI, only the buckets. So the (item)filter doesn't understand that it has to look for the liquids only. in my eyes its a flaw and has to be fixed like " if pipe then do this else do that."
@@MarcoKoobs create does use the buckets for liquids, you can see it in the pondering menu for the smart pipes or whatever they're called. they did this because they know you can't just add liquids themself to a filter in survival without jei and it was a simpler solution. the filters do read buckets, they just don't read filters properly because they don't seem to be programmed on how to pull fluids when there can only be one fluid in a pipe at a time when you want to pull several.
@@Doolaidman It only can handle one fluid at a time. thats true, but still u can make it like i did. from a smeltel to tanks, than it can hanle more liquids (not at once but it still will sort it) like the molten iron or gold. u can do the same for a train with other liquids, but u have to filter them on the tank. and with big lines more pumps

If you used conductors, you can make a whisle and have the train come to you when you need something. This is the method I am looking at doing with a delivery service and a whisle for every train means easy maintains in case you need to change them

For your delivery train: idk if it's just for creative, but if you use a conductor in the train seat, you can link it with a while and summon it by clicking a track it can reach

i find it admirable that you’re actually distributing stuff and not just having everything run in parallel with it going to one input till it’s full then another input till it’s full and having the warehouse be the overflow

Bearstone, a mod called create deco is out for 1.20, it's a really great for decoration and adds containers
For future reference, the Netherite Diving Boots serve exactly as Netherite Boots but with the special abilities of moving more quickly through lava and allowing you to be unaffected by Conveyor Belts. It would be a good idea to use those moving forward. Since you're more than 2,000 days into this world, I naturally assume that Netherite is not outside your field of accessibility
Have you thought about adding a misc-carriage to your supply-train? Then you could add a vault in your distribution center, where you could deposit all kinds of stuff you want to send to beardew valley. Just in case you want to transport some stuff like "chiseled andesite pillars" or so.
would love to see you eventually make some sort of worlds fair exhibition! I think given the whole steam and brass design of the create mod it would fit in pretty well, and allow you to really stretch your creative side in making exhibits and all that :)
Whenever I see your airship I’m still kind of surprised you didn’t download an airship mod which would allow you to drive it to wherever you need it and just park it there, ut I have to assume there’s a really good reason for it. As for the train names I think “Wet Whistler” and “Beard Goods” would be fairly good picks. Always happy to see an upload from you and wish you swift recovery for the next year.
Maybe you could call the fluids train "the Fluid Flywheel"? And the special request train could be called "the Beardy Express".
Because all of your districts are so far away, you should make a subway/Metro system that uses the nether to make the journeys to and from quicker

I have had that issue with filters as well. The way I worked through it was to have the tank and pump exist in one chunk. Crossing chunk borders was my issue. Good luck

you could use valves and Redstone links to open and close different paths for each liquid

You could use redstone links and valves to block certain tanks from getting fluids instead of using filter pipes

I feel like windmills might be a good power source for here and you could clear a little land on the main land and build like 10-20 windmills

I have not tested these ideas but you may be able to fix the filter issue on the tanks with one of these ideas
Replace the paper filter with an actual bucket of lava
Use an unfiltered buffer tank then pump from that into filtered tanks
15:40 you dont need filters for those though! you can just use the buckets since you are only ever filtering 1 liquid.
It's a good layout for the simple liquid units just make another set for ALL the OTHER liquids so you still have each but 2 tanks of each in the simplest way you had.
The liquid train could be named aquifa which stands for aquifer which is a source of water which is liquid.

Once create interactive has more of its quirks worked through you should concider adding it to the mod pack
fluid tanks can't fill with two fluids at once so you can make it so it always keeps a little bit of lava and it'll always filter it without a smart pipe

for the first train you could go simple with The Liquidator
Filter pipes need to be before any pump. I had the same issue on a world when I needed a bunch of different liquids.

You could hide the stations in storage crates or generators

If you wanted to store more than 6 different types of liquids, you could build a duplicate of the tank system, next to the existing system.
old video I know but probably nice to mention that you don't need to go underground or do trickery with pipes. if you use the wrench to make pipes see-through they won't connect to anything but the pipes in front and behind them, they won't curve either.

i have a mod suggestion to add to this world if you want to. its called “distant horizons,” and it allows the player to see really far away without costing any frames. it just lowers detail on land farther out, and it is highly customizable. i think it would look really great on this world in particular.
Train idea, The Runny Beardsman. Love the videos, a bright part of every week!
Is there a way you can make the whistles different pitches for all the different trains? It would give each one its own sort of personality, plus act as identification. When you hear a certain whistle you can say "There's the log train" or "There's the Flying Beardsman".
And in general it would liven up your fleet of trains rather than having every single train sharing the exact same whistle.
A cool train Name could be The Shore Line Express if it travels on a coast
