Jenni is more than an artist to me, and I think most of her fans too, she reminds me of my mom who also fought hard as a single mother and dealt with hardships. Whenever I think of Jenni I think of my mom who’s a hard working women. We both love Jenni so we have that bond. Jenni means a lot to us. That’s why I cry at this and cry when I listen to her sing at times. She’s just a special person to a lot of people. Rest in paradise Jenni 💕 🕊 🦋

My heart goes out. I’m so sorry for your loss and I know this post is 8 years after your mother’s death, but I remember that feeling of losing my dad. I found an old tape that my mom gave me. It was a recording of me giving my dad an interview when I was 6 years old. At the time of his passing I wanted so bad to hear his voice again and when I was listening to the tape and hearing his voice I just had this sense of relief I felt goose bumps on my arms, and my hands felt warm. It was a beautiful moment and I was always scared of falling asleep because I didn’t want to forget his voice. I tell myself to remember the good times and memories shared with him. It’s very hard losing your parent it feels worst than having your heart broken because that’s how I felt when my dad died. It felt like a piece of my heart died with him. I know he’s still watching over me and he protects me. I have been in so many ugly situations growing up but i remember his laugh and him telling me “Mija, don’t hold grudges because god won’t hear your prayers” I miss you dad and one day we will meet again. 💕

The best advice someone gave me when I lost my Dad. I wanted to see him and hold him. A friend said "Your dad never left, touch your arm, your face he is part of you and he lives in you his DNA is part of you" I ever thought of it that way but it helped a lot.
I always cry watching them mourn their mothers loss 😔😔 But they are so blessed to have each other to lean on 💕

The first time ever watching I love Jenni I’m like who is this person? She’s amazing. I loved everything about her, and when she passed away my heart broke. Same year as Whitney Houston who I adore. I can’t even go to watch the Riveras because I became so invested with this family. It breaks my heart that they have had to go through losing their mom. Jenni loved her children and I know she’s looking over them and truly proud. Chiquis she’s proud of you! I have been watching re-runs of I love Jenni because I am not ready to watch life without her.

I'm so sorry, it's terrible when you lose a loved one. At first when someone lost a family member we would say I know ,I know u miss them. Well I lost my daddy a month ago, he died on his 85 birthday at home, He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer out of the blue, the Dr. Told us he had it and two weeks prior,he passed . Now losing him, it hurts so much, I'm so lost without him. We are a very close family, n me n my siblings took care of him with my mom. I stayed with them through those days til his final breath. I breakdown alot and I feel like he's waiting for us to go pick him up, like I need to go bring him home, he's, lost, but I do understand now, and it's never gonna go away the pain, the tears the emptyness. But hold in to her memories, n the love her beautiful music,cos right there, she's with you all. We are taking care of our madrecita, making sure she's not alone n letting her know how much we love her. I love you all, and il keep y'all in my prayers to continue to give y'all strength n comfort. Continue bieng the beautiful family that u are.

Totally feel their pain. Me and my siblings are 6. Lost our Dad in 2012 to a lung infection and in 2014 lost our Mom in a horrible car accident. She went on a trip and never came back, opening her luggage was awful. We always have that feeling that it could be a lie and she might come back. 😭
when someone dies a few days u still feel like they are still alive u feel like there still here that they're just somewhere when their dead u never be ready for it and it's not easy to accept it all actually but life is life and we have to continue till are time comes :( I feel sad for them hope they stick together and push through life

I understand you my mom passed away in 2014 and I always feel like what did I do to deserve not having my mom with me . Even as a Christian believer and I have faith that I’ll be eternally reunited with her one day along with my father who died in 2004 , it hurts a lot .
