Relaxing ASMR Drive Through Bombay Hook National Wildlife Reserve (Early Spring) (Binaural)

- Join me on a relaxing, ASMR, binaural (headphones recommended!) car ride through the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Reserve located in Smyrna, Delaware. This was originally planned to be a combination drive through & walkabout, but because the drive took longer than anticipated, the walkabout (with the new gimbal & smoother video!) will, sadly, have to wait.
While, in my opinion, Bombay Hook may not offer the closeup views or wildlife diversity that you'll find at the John Heinz NWR (about an hour away from Bombay Hook), not to mention the exercise, it's still great nonetheless for what you will see: Eagles, Osprey, Great Blue Herons, Great & Snowy Egrets, the occasional otter & fox, and all the other various duck and bird species.

I hope you enjoy this style of video with the binaural mics while driving, as I’m hoping to do more of these in the near future. Maybe driving through the mountains and the turnpike tunnel in upstate Pennsylvania. I’m also thinking of doing a binaural train ride (rent a personal cabin on Amtrak).

This video reminds me that now that the cooler days of autumn have finally taken hold in my end of the world, I should take a relaxing drive and walk in some of the more picturesque places I like to visit. But this will help me on my journey to sleep.

Paul, I hear ya gotcherself one of them fancy electronic vehicles. Literally, could not hear an engine start. Very enjoyable video thus far. Will have to listen to the rest over time. I did hear a plethora of birdcalls throughout the beginning and around wooded areas. Almost sounded like they were piped in overlay track that you faded in and out of the video. Great work! 🤘🚗🤘
The horse and buggy are in the shop, so I had to borrow one of those new fangled things. All credit to the in-ear mics. I just hit record and hope not to get any sounds that are too loud, nature does the rest!

Really really like this. Ive always found a good chill drive very relaxing, and I've never seen a video like this but it's super relaxing. I like the little breaks between you talking, occasionally saying something when you see something out there.. Lovely.

Driving across the US are my favourite type of videos. Not many channels focus on ASMR driving and if they do it’s in the passenger’s seat perspective so I’m excited to see you do it your own way. I’ve always wanted to travel to the states and seeing the landscapes makes me really happy, thank you ER 😊❤
I would love to recommend Sweet Run State Park in Northern Virginia! It is very close to the border of WV and MD. It is a brand new (smaller) park, but so much to see! Lots of trails and it’s very peaceful and quiet. You can easily hike 5-10+ miles if you wanted to. Lots of lovely birds and streams, too!

The dark birds on the rocks are probably cormorants. They dry their wings out and they sit in roosts. Just a guess, though!

Ephemeral rift is awesome. I've been telling my whole block, no whole town, no whole county, no whole state, no whole country of his awesomeness.
Before war me and my father and his friend used to go on to the forest or to the lake and just stay far from city for awhile. It's reminded me of those times. I miss it, but in difficult time like that good memories help a bit. Thanks for your videos.

Dopamine? lol. Honestly, all I want to do right now is be outdoors making (recording) stuff, day or night, clear skies or rain. I don't know how else to put it. I have indoor videos/ideas I need to do, but they are taking a backseat right now.
