  • Had to go back in to Canyonlands, down Elephant Hill, and get a 94 Jeep Wrangler that broke the axleshafts and the ball joints on the passenger side. Went in not knowing exactly what was broke so we didn't take parts, was just easier to carry out and repair at the shop.

That was some great driving very technical maneuvering to be able to get out alone much less without swinging the jeep on the back into an obstacle. You have trail mater dialed in for that type of thing and it's so awesome to watch!

M8ter is built with some dam good parts but even still he could definitely break something if not very careful.. The part where he ran the winch in this video could have easily broken his rig if he just sent it.. rock crawling is incredibly hard on parts.. if you start wheel hopping on a ledge or something and just keep the hammer down you can break even the strongest parts.. the fact is that most of these vehicles are not off-road vehicles they just look that way and nothing separates the strong from the weak quite like rock crawling...

I’m speechless… Let’s see, how will I begin… First of all, the scenery by the photographer was just unbelievably, beautifully portrayed; as well as exhibiting the entire recovery to perfection....no blank areas to guess what’s happening!! Loved the photography of the driver in the upper left corner and still able to see all of what’s happening with both trucks! Kudos to the photographer! Now for the driver: he was so meticulously careful! He had to watch the front of his truck, with a big tire on it; the back of his truck; the height and elevation of the Jeep he was pulling and the back tires of the Jeep!!! I hope the Jeep owner paid him about $1000 for his meticulous care. If it had been me and I noticed how poorly someone had treated their vehicle, I would’ve gone 90 miles an hour up those hills and forget putting another scratch on that Jeep! This was just fun to watch because 2 PROS were seen at their finest!!! Wisconsin THANKS YOU BOTH!!! Back in the 1950s or 1960s, there was a piano player/singer named Jimmy Durante and he had a big nose ( like your truck with a tire in the front); he often closed his show with “Ha cha cha, Ha cha cha” and shook his head back and forth when saying it! You should close your show that way ha-cha-cha, ha-cha-cha!

Rory has that same "busy but no rush" demeanor behind the wheel of a truly professional race/rally driver... Looks like he can make a cup of coffee while he is shifting, twirling the steering, feeling the truck talking and stepping on the clutch and brakes! A true professional at work!

So impressive I watched again and got an even more detailed view of all the precise moves you had to make to get this big package through all the turns and narrow passageways on steep slopes with loose footing in many places. The Trail Mater is the most awesome vehicle I have seen on the trails and Rory is a great driver. It can drive, tow, lift, winch, weld, and anything else you would ever need on a trail. #1 in my book!

Trail Mater is a beast! Rory is all that is Wheelman. Seems to be limited camera crew, which I like because it's like watching in real time. No music! Genius! No narration! Also Genius! Raw and uncut, except for all the profanity that I'm sure never happens ever! Love this Channel:)

Anyone that complains about that video doesn’t deserve access to that video. Some of the best technical driving/towing skill I’ve seen. Having operated a tow truck in flatland conditions, I’m gobsmacked at your front dig, rear lock maneuvers on those hairpin turns WITH A FREAKING WRECK on the hook. Wow. Just. Wow.
