WTH, it doesn't. What does the title say? It does not say "kid throws out runner at first to protect perfect game." Bruno is a stud, anyone can see that who has a damn clue about baseball, especially LLBB, but throwing a perfect game is not quite as hard when the ump is calling strikes that are a foot off the plate. I like the kid, wish he was on my team, but my god that strike zone helped him out, A LOT.

Okay I’m seeing tons of people in the comments making brain dead remarks and not understanding the rules of Little League, yes the umpire was calling a big zone but Umps in LL will usually give you a few inches off the plate and the kid was painting the outside corners since he knew the umpire was calling it.. As for 0:30 I’m seeing tons of people saying it’s a balk, it is not.. In Little League you are allowed to quick pitch and there are no balks as there are no lead offs since 60 foot bases.. I’d also like to remind you that every other pitcher in the LLWS and the Regionals has the same rules and yet none of them threw a perfect game so everyone saying that they could throw a perfect game with these rules and distances do us all a favor and shut up.. To close it off, as someone who is 15 and who watches the LLWS and has played Little League this kid has the greatest mechanics I’ve ever seen any 12/13 year old have..
