- Ranger shows us around the massive Water World water park outside Denver, Colorado. This waterpark has tons and tons of slides, rides and rivers including favorites like the Mile High Flyer and Voyage To The Center Of The Earth at one of the best water parks in the country.

I was a lifeguard there for a summer, on employee night I got to ride the mile high flyer three times in a row without getting off. That was a blast!

Dinosaur ride traumatized me when I was 5. now it is one of my favorite rides ever.
My finger got snapped on screamin Mimi when the wheel rolled over my finger, dinosaur ride is very fun tho
If you’re at water world on a sunny day use the singles line for mile high flyer otherwise you will be waiting for 2 hours
knowing that this pandemic is going to get EVERYONE hyped to get out there again I'm betting it's going to be more like 4 hours.
lol every time I go to water world it starts out sunny and then ends up being cloudy the rest of the day

Man, I fondly remember Water World. I haven’t been there since 1990, despite the fact that I’m from here. Great memories.
Used to love this place when I lived there
I almost drowned in thunder bay as a kid the suction is no joke after the wave.. Good memories though. A lot of newer rides I haven't seen so nice visit and review
We are Going back in july we will be heading right for Mile Hight first ever day we go.

I loved that place, especially the Pepsi Wave down below. Totally worth the all day fun!!!!
I’m pretty sure I went there that day and the mile high flyer got a lightning delay for like 2 hours right when we were at the front of the line.
That sucks when you were in the front of the line
I had a season pass here all of middle school, this brought back some great nostalgia

No I can see where he is going with this. A lazy river should have a little excitement to it like some spray jets, waterfalls or dump buckets. I personally think they should add more of that to a lot of lazy rivers that have none of that.
Colorado native, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been rained out at this park😂😂 Water world is great tho
My family goes annually to water world every summer. COVID has prevented us from going last summer and it feels like and eternity luckily we get to go next Wednesday. Thanks for this as I just want to feel nolstalgia. I really love how you weren’t that negative about the rides. Btw carrying our family tube up the long hills has become kinda a weird fun tradition for us but I will take my kids every summer if I have kids. Yes, the dinosaur ride is the best.
My grandpas been working here for almost 20 years and gets free tickets.

It’s 7 1/2 ft at its deepest point on the wave pool
I rode Mile High Flyer opening year and probably waited an hour in the single riders line. Totally worth it!

A kids area there is called Wally World.
Cowabunga Beach used to just be a small wave pool
quick tip head to the clown area and set down your stuff lockers aren’t necessary hurry up after that get to mile high flyer the line is incredibly short at opening
I'm going in 2 weeks!!! My first time ever. I can't wait!!! Highly considering getting the tube valet... do you think its worth it? I'm from NJ so I most likely won't be back here so I want to make sure I see everything.
If you have a group of 4 people, it might be worth it.

Depends on the day sometimes it’s really busy like I went a week ago and it was not worth it on most slides it was the same length but the mile high flight it’s worth

bringing canned foods there gives you a five dollar discount and gives it to the poor. As a result we have a bizzare tradition of bringing your own can of corn to water world.
Waterworld is not in Denver it's Federal Heights!

The Colorado river is the most painful slide ever
Fatgibby64 Really? Because Scorpion's Tail at Noah's Ark is pretty painful and I can't imagine anything worst than that.
If that’s the best water coaster in the world I’m not impressed.
This waterpark reminds me of Noah’s Ark in Wisconsin Dells. However I’d say Noah’s Ark is better.
Noah's Ark, Schlitterbahn, and Water World here are the top-3 US water parks in my opinion.
What about Splish Splash in New York and San Diemas, California? Those look pretty awesome as well as Dollywood's Splash Country in Tennessee and Blue Bayou in Baton Rouge to name a few.
