The Cotton Bowl in October is the best college football atmosphere I’ve ever been in. 96-01 were my years there. If you get to go, get as close to the 50 yd line as you can. You also need to catch a game in Norman.
we were so so spoiled with Saban, and a lot of students reflected that. But for the portion of us who respected the greatness unfolding in real time, it was magical every time. will cost you hundreds unless you know a guy but if you can get a night game vs Tennessee, LSU or Auburn (or Georgia this year) , you will not regret the money spent. Afternoon slots also work if it’s November
and no, we are anything but chill after the ball is kicked off. It’s the opposite; we are so used to winning that we lose our collective minds when we’re not up by 3+ scores in the 3rd quarter. Tailgating is top tier though
I went to the OSU ND game in south bend and it definitely is a really cool experience and that stadium is beautiful. I recommend going there and the shoe is sick
I've only been to 3 college stadiums. Bowling Green, Ohio, The Shoe at Ohio State, and The Big House of the Ann Arbor Yellow Pants. But my niece is touring the country going to every football, basketball and baseball venue she can find. Her list is very, very long.
Was at the Rose Bowl this year for Mich vs Bama. As someone who’s been to the big house many times, I can say the environment that day was 10x better than any game at Michigan stadium. Maybe because of what it was but still 😂
The game itself was one of the most entertaining. Add to that, it being at an iconic venue, it being a semi final matchup, the history of Harbaugh in the post season and all the off field discussion. Everything put together made it one of the most amazing sporting events of all time for me. That being said, the rose bowl isn’t as amazing as the big house on any given Saturday, only really iconic during the actual Rose bowl game
You have to get out to The Big House! I've been to 5 games, and miiiiiiiight be a little bias towards my Wolverines, but there is nothing like 107,601 singing Mr. Brightside.
ain't nothin like a doak night game
