The 2nd violin part to the first movement of the Bach Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor. Audible metronome beat & measure numbers to help you play along. Happy Practicing!
I am compelled to share my gratitude for your video, this being the some millionth time I've come back to listen, I'm working on violin 1, and this is a great accompaniment, thank you!
Thank you for making this! I am a cellist who has been unofficially learning violin from my best friend and she has been teaching me this. Unfortunately, she didn't give me a part, and I forgot some of the notes. I also have had trouble reading treble clef since I quit piano anyway, and I learn mainly by ear, so hearing it slowly with each note emphasized really helped me learn this piece.
Thank you so much! This is really helpful! I'm still completely overwhelmed by this piece though... Looks straightforward on the page but how it fits with the first violin is baffling 😱
Thank you! I am thinking of doing a video on how to count difficult passages. The trick I will be going through is to sub-divide all quarters into 8ths (every time there is a quarter note, play two eighth notes instead) and to take away all slurs and ties. (If there is a tie, play each note with a separate bow). If you would like help with a specific spot just let me know and I will see if I can give you a good tip!
Hello and thank you for your comment! Sorry my reply is ridiculously late. There is a video of both violins (perhaps you found it already or don't need it anymore though). It is here: czcams.com/video/8F5nJ_0kGGI/video.html
Hi @Ready, Set, Practice! Thanks for this. I've been looking for good youtube videos for my students. I like the measure numbers; they are so helpful. In measure 12 I hear a B flat as opposed to a B natural as the fifth note of that measure (I use the Suzuki violin volume 4 book revised edition). Did you decide to change it, and if so, why? Or perhaps you are using a different version of the music. I like how the B flat sounds. Thanks for any response.
@@ReadySetPractice your video had helped me a lot in practicing the 1st movement. looking forward to the 2nd and 3rd movements for Violin 2 which I will be learning soon.
Hello. Thanks for the video. I've started learning as an adults about 6 month ago with a rental violin. Now, I kinda have to buy an instrument. I would appreciate if you have any suggestion for something around 1K. I live in US if that makes any difference.
Why the f$&&$ is there a f$&@&@ commercial in the middle of the F$&@&&@ tune ?!?? My wife plays violin + I was playing guitar and all of a sudden James Hatfield come on !!! Wtf $@&&&&&!!!!!?!?!😡🤬🤬🤬

She uses the strings of PRACTICE
How would this piece look played on an Erhu?

Hahaha! Yeah, same for me. I’m on this song in my book. Gosh, I wish I had started as a kid. 😅
