2 more interractions that i feel are interresting to mention and that can change how you use Stannis tactic cards:
- Muster has a special synergy with the solo Dragonstone Noble. Since this is a solo unit, it may freely retreat from an enemy unit on activation. With Muster, this means a DN will be able to retreat, prevent pivot, maneuvre and then do another action, like charging in the flank. If you happen to have On The Double in your hand also, i think this could even garantee a rear charge if you started in the front arc. Im not exactly sure about the math there, but it might be doable. Would need to test that wombo combo.
- Ride Them Down might have an hidden synergy with Champs of the Stag, that i've yet to see someone mention, so i think i might have something, or maybe its all wind. Ride Them Down say that if you successfully charge with it, you put out a panic token and instead of attacking, you do some auto-hits. Fair play for now. If you look at the CotS ability, you will read that enemy successfully charged becomes weakened. So, i think this should proc as well when using Ride Them Down, which would make the enemy weakened and panicked on the charge, and, if you attack afterwards on your turn, vulnerable as well.
I don't see any flaws in your CotS logic. All good advice for those eyeballing our honey glazed heirarch
My question is, are Dragonstone Nobles technically cavalry? I mean, logically I would say yes, but I don't think the word "cavalry" appears anywhere on their unit card
If you look at the back of the card, just below the point cost, you'll see the symbol denoting it's a cavalry unit.
Yes exactly, I’ve also seen the misunderstanding that the freedmen are a solo unit. But the solo unit doesn’t exist, it’s just the tray size.
@@BigTopGaming To me it seems like the Weakened token from the CotS is tied to the Melee Attack which doesn't happen after Ride Them Down. So in my opinion they would only get Panicked, not Weakened

i ilke how they tried to deter people from using FM with King Stannis. double Vicious is a waste but people will still take FM in the list. Even though he is burning a lake to get rid of them from Winterhell!
