I’m 29, I’ve known this sonata for years, I played it, and yet I don’t know how am I supposed to listen to this without crying like a baby. Thank you Gods above for Brahms and for music.
Three outstanding yet drastically performances by Oistrakh, Suk and Perlman are all on CZcams. The power and magic of music at its finest to hear three entirely different music from the same score.
Wow excellent I have been waiting for a pianist to get a wee bit of the Slavic Hopek dance in there - Daniel you are fearless and Itzak you too are really singing. Great guys - I love the passion.
Lately I have been wondered about the folding arpeggios at the very beginning of the first movement - do you think Brahms might have been hinting at an accordion?

You're right. Stephanie. Maybe their votes tell more about themselves than about the video.
These two play like brothers! Such a beautifully cohesive performance.

Their version is unequaled.
Sweet violin!
Wish I could download and listen to this everyday! So beautiful it makes me cry 😫❤️
Music doesn’t make me cry, ever, except for one piece, and this is it.
have you ever heard of spotify?
Have you heard of a kid who doesn’t have Spotify?
I mean, didn't you know you can download the video?
@@dannyboy2267 Hmm the video isn’t downloadable. Spotify was released this year for my country. So.. I had no way. Ah never mind 😬
7:26 proves that even Barenboim is human....
excellent
Something coming from the heavens🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🎶🎵
This is why I keep practising, and teaching my twin boys, aged 9.
