Lately I have been wondered about the folding arpeggios at the very beginning of the first movement - do you think Brahms might have been hinting at an accordion?
Wow excellent I have been waiting for a pianist to get a wee bit of the Slavic Hopek dance in there - Daniel you are fearless and Itzak you too are really singing. Great guys - I love the passion.
I’m 29, I’ve known this sonata for years, I played it, and yet I don’t know how am I supposed to listen to this without crying like a baby. Thank you Gods above for Brahms and for music.
Three outstanding yet drastically performances by Oistrakh, Suk and Perlman are all on CZcams. The power and magic of music at its finest to hear three entirely different music from the same score.

The stradavarius can almost! talk.
Yes, but not by its own.
@@geigenatelierbrusch469 agree
Their version is unequaled.
7:26 proves that even Barenboim is human....

I remember Oistrakh playing this piece in Belgium Kursaal Of Oostende, a precious memory
Who's bhrams?...
Are You joking?
He sits on the right hand side of god 😂
Its hard to answer 😅
This is why I keep practising, and teaching my twin boys, aged 9.
Why did you only post one movement?
감성 터지네
Wish I could download and listen to this everyday! So beautiful it makes me cry 😫❤️
Music doesn’t make me cry, ever, except for one piece, and this is it.
have you ever heard of spotify?
Have you heard of a kid who doesn’t have Spotify?
I mean, didn't you know you can download the video?
@@dannyboy2267 Hmm the video isn’t downloadable. Spotify was released this year for my country. So.. I had no way. Ah never mind 😬
大好き…雨がしんみりしていて…素敵、、、
Sweet violin!
I first saw these two making music together in 1972 - I've not had a bad life !
19 now I guess 🤨
excellent
History in the making! The state of flow & cohesion they're in...you wanted to be in that hall that day...
I dont know how could 17 people dislike this vídeo . My God its perfect so beautiful ❤
only gelous people
You're right. Stephanie. Maybe their votes tell more about themselves than about the video.
This pulled my heart strings. ❤️
.... мастера!... приятно и глянуть, и уж конечно услышать...
I was there
Oh,many years ago.
good for you
Where was it?
These two play like brothers! Such a beautifully cohesive performance.
He is playing a Stradivarius or Guarnerius?
Caleb strad
He is playing the Soil Stradivarius (1714)
Great! ! ! Look forward to the other three movements. Thank you.
