Serious Sam 2 is kinda like a cartoon version of serious sam. The graphics and the bosses. The graphics look like fortnite's. Even the enemies aren't the same as in ss first encounter and ss second encounter. It's kinda like a side story that doesn't have anything to do with the others. The final boss is not even ugh-zan or anything like that. It is a pyramid. Nothing in this game is related to ssfe, se, 3 bfe and 4

You either love this game or you hate it, no inbetween, like the controls and some of the "physics" are dogshit and some enemy designs are trash and are just annoying and overused in some levels and they fling you around like a bouncy ball, but i love the game honestly, its fun especially if you play it with friends and do co op

It got repetitive after that, although I've heard that this particular game was met somewhat colder than the Encounters. To me, it is still the most played Serious Sam, and it was more enjoyable to go through, even with all the fooling around.

And yea, while Serious Sam 2 was more cartoony, it had no reloading weapons! (aside from shotguns)
The one think l dont like about Serious Sam 3 and 4 is that you need to reload some weapons.... in the old days? 999 ammo and keep blazing until the it runs dry

Like 50 enemies moving towards you, but you need to stop shooting to reload, give us tommy gun with 999 ammo! lol

The selling point of this game was the co-op in story mode....playing it with friends until late at night wass the best memories to me

i can why this game was huge hit 15 years ago becasue its so hilarious and random funny stuff happens all the time

Very likely. Devs said they consider SS2 non-canon. It was just too silly and bizarre.
SS2 - A direct continuation of TSE, however, it's been stated by the devs that it's no longer canon to the main storyline and is merely happens inside of Sam's dream.
I hope the next isn't trash like part 4

If Serious Sam 2 was to be remastered, the intro will likely include clips from HD TSE, HD TSE, BFE and SS4

yeah i also love serious sam 2 even though they made it alot more cartoonish than the gritty first which also was amazing and will never forget it when it first came out and playin it as a kid, i didint e nnjoy 3 much but i didnt get vey far so maybe should try again, 4 is really good too amazing

See this? Now THIS was fun to play- not like the newer releases lately. I still think CroTeam trying to make this game look realistic was a step in the wrong direction. They should have stayed with the cartoony looks

@@yourewallsareveryconvenien8292 Generic? It's gone off the path that SS3 tried to make Serious Sam go on, especially with how cheesy the dialogue was between the characters in the cut scenes. If anything, it tried to get close to how aloof and funny SS2 tried to be without going completely overboard (which doesn't mean how SS2 handled it was bad or anything, I liked it too). I seriously believe you're a fucking idiot who hasn't played SS4 or any of the games besides SS2, which again, isn't a bad thing since SS2 was a solid game, but christ, man. You're an idiot and a bandwagoner.

And yes i played it and it was quite buggy for me and the story was decent with horrible cutscenes and bland characters and there design are awful! Can't say that the gameplay was enjoyable it was quite good it really made the gun have punch in them. Do you know what SS3 and 4 failed to become SS game? Unique artstyle, settings and level design. SS4 level design really felt bland and boring walking around on those reused environment from talos principle-streets or walking around in a bland sandbox that just simply looks some unity real life simulator game on budget. I actually prefer SS 3 alot than SS 4 (Despite the annoying soldier hit scanner). Don't get your tits twist so hard baby, its only my opinion and everyone have opinions like @Khaz said "Careful, the SS4 are coming" and this applies to you my friend. Have a nice day!

okay im 20 now i played this when i was like 10-13 and i dont remember any of this stuff i feel like im tripping on something or im in some weird fever dream
I remember thinking ok I goth 5th medallion part it was a nice game shame it ended. And then there was whole another chunk of game. Even if it was ~17 years ago I still remember that feeling.
When i had 5 my dad downloaded this game thunking its a kids game because of bad graffic look at me now 15 and still playing it even that its old and bad graffic but its a goofy game with goofy animation even today i still love it
