I purchased this vehicle 2 days ago and appreciate all the knowledge you shared. 48 hours in and I highly recommend. The smaller size is good for me (no kids). Love this Range Rover!
@@handsomeblackmuscle9845 no it was different issues, one was the pedestrian safety mechanism thing on the bonnet, then it wouldn’t even start and needed a soft wear update. After that it went in for a recall problem! Still love the car though. Like you say amazing design
Family Wheels thanks 😊 I reserved the new defender X with Santorini black & after seeing this nice Grey Eiger I’m thinking to change to it! What do you recommend for the defender X? Grey or black! A big hi for your nice family Regards & thanks for answering me
@@U..R..L JEALOUS! Wow, what a nice dilemma to have!! Sweet ride man, I think they're done well with incorporating some of the classic defender look into the new design. I wouldn't wanna make a decision without seeing them in the flesh side by side. I always tend to go with black for some reason.
@@U..R..L lucky you! I've got a chance to seat in the new Def on the presention. I hope I hope to buy one for my 40th bday. but first I have to buy a house with larger driveway ;) I love this car from a first minute
Nice choice. New refresh looks nice. The optional drive pro package does include lane keep assist. Wouldn't worry about the massage chairs but the touch pro duo screens were fantastic
I’m waiting until the 2021 version comes out. Upgraded infotainment system, and they’ve redesigned the steering wheel controls. Does this car use regular gas or just premium, and approx. what’s the cost for a lube job and oil change? Thanks
@@FamilyWheels I think it depends on what the use of the vehicle is. The velar is a foot and a half longer which makes it a bit harder to drive day-to-day. If I had a boat, trailer, small camper to haul I'd go for Discovery. If I just needed a family friendly daily driver I'd go Evoque.
This car has serious reliability issues with the gearbox and problems associated with the dpf filter. Had a 20 plate R Dynamic D180 S for 12 months, and getting rid after numerous issues. Fumes coming into the cabin, gearbox sticking, gearbox failing to select, suspension issues, dpf failure and more! Stay well clear if you want a vehicle that won't be in getting looked at every month! The brand is clearly suffering from poor manufacturing and design faults. No gone for a Kia Sorento and it's hands down way better than the Evoque!
Black interiors are ugly, depressing, and claustrophobic. No matter how much room inside it will feel small and cramped when it is floor to ceiling black.

My 2012 evoque already clocked 280K miles without a single issues and still drives smooth as a silk like brand new

My daughter just bought one and I was gobsmacked how nice it is dynamique lux
Picking mine up sat 😁
Congrats 6 months later! Haha
@@handsomeblackmuscle9845 thanks, absolutely love it but it has gone back to Range Rover three times in six months with faults!

😒 That's unfortunate, is it the same issue all the time? Or different issues?
I just love the design! 🥰

Really enjoyed this car 👍🏻
You didn’t stop in the STOP sign.
Has already paid his penalty notice in advance .. so not need to stop!!!
It's a Range Rover!
Just heard your voice on radio and it all clicked for me! Shout out from Surrey BC! Keep up the good work on both radio and your channel here
Haha! Thanks Phil. You’re the first to connect the dots!
Thank you for putting the child seat in the back. I’ve been wondering how a child would fare back there for months! 😅
No problem, it's what we do! Hope it helped!
Thanks for that but you should at least mention the color of the évoque you’re driving
Sorry, got totally distracted by those Touch Pro Duo screens and the massage chair. The car tested is Eiger Grey :)
Family Wheels thanks 😊

Family Wheels just the defender X have a lot of shiny black exterior in it!
Can you tell me your reasons to choose black?
I appreciate

Awesome review.....🙏
Perth accent? Lol.... im getting this, luxury ride 🤩
Adelaide! So jealous, enjoy it :)
I want it!!! And you got the baby seat in the back. This mama loved to see that cause the backseat looks small in pictures
Glad it works for you. Thanks for watching.
God, love the alloys. What version is that? UK Spec?
Canada
Planning to buy one, this would be my first car, what do you suggest?
And also, is the lane departure just alert or assist?

Yeah it has those features standard

What colour is this ? I want to get my new range in this colour
Hmm. I can't remember!
Nolita grey I think
Fab colour
grey capitharian
Do you get the sweeping animated lights in autobiography trim?
Which suv do you recommend peugeot 3008 hybrid or this one?
Unfortunately, we don't get Peugeot here in Canada, so I can't compare for you :(
What color is it ?
Looking a lot better on the interior, Mark one was a bit tarty
very helpful man! awesome.
Glad it was useful!
Great
The rear looks similar to velar 🤔🤨👍
Sure does! I see plenty from the Land Rover Discovery Sport, too. Which would you prefer?!

Is that a fixed sunroof?
Hmm, I can't for the life of me remember :(
Where do you think it will slide to? Yeah - it’s a panoramic roof.
Full of electronic ...sounds great as long as is fine but what happening when it goes wrong ....
You hope it's under warranty :)
This is my car
Its a nice car but could do with a more sporty steering wheel.......
Which model of evoque is this ?
This one was the P300 R Dynamic :)

Nice vehicle but o absolutely hate black interior
@April seems like you’re the one w no taste...red is the definition of tacky inside a car unless you’re a celeb lmao
🌞
LOL! You are hilarious!
I’m calling b.s. on the accent 😉
How DARE you!!

I do prefer a light interior myself (or red depending on the car)
