It's actually a pretty good game if you want to have fun, cute costumes and mounts. I have tried the f2p way on my alternate account, i recommended going this route since its a rng game; don't get too competitive if you're not mentally (financially) strong against javir, useless. We get rares also just by loging in now. So I suggest everyone who wants to come back or give it a try, please do!!!!

No, I must say, even for the players as myself who still keep going, have kingdom fused etc, this update is nice, it motivates everyone again to play more :) The game still has its flaws, of course, but new story mode will have us party up again to get through story missions :)
Also for the PKing, there's only PKing in Chaos 4th floors and Cross now, outside....not really anymore, top guilds actually look to recruit more now and don't want to frustrate players I feel like.
Our server is still fighting over petty things though. But you are right, less PK'ing now compared to pre to mid season of the game. Cross field event really was the factor for that as more whales from each KD are starting to cooperate with each other, and the KD behind them are starting to cooperate with each other as well, so the toxicity level went considerably down. The sad thing that I just learn after watching the video though is that the update for Javir brothers was actually P2W, so we F2P will still struggle with the brother's cursing curse if we are terribly unlucky.

Is Cross Worlds strictly played as an MMO? What I mean is that, is the player required to cooperate with other players, join guilds etc or can it be played alone and still progress through the story? Similar to Revenant Kingdom. I just really loved this franchise for the art, story, and overall gameplay but I dont like playing with other people (because its honestly very daunting). I've held off from trying to jump in when it first launched because I kept reading how toxic other players get and that just turned me off.
Just don't waste any more money on this game. Other gacha games will give you more bang for your buck.
Correction even as an f2p just don't use your money on javier and you will be fine
I've stopped spending 3 months ago and I don't feel I'm missing out on much. Not competing in pvp has helped with that. Familiar arena aside, Lava Valley and Temple Arena are just a broken mess to enjoy.
Don't really have to spend anything at all. I see f2p players and have an insane amount of stats (raw atk). It is all pure luck brother.
So many players from my kingdom have quit. I keep playing and try to enjoy what I can. I even stream it on twitch so I do hope it gets more lively soon.

@@sil3ntrogu3 ah ok I'm on jade cancer and similar stuff was happening to us so we decided to merge with another kingdom, best decision we made, we got stronger and most importantly more active people
Netmarble has managed to break this game again and again, and now the problem issues has shifting a little from javir/dark magic crisis and lack of content (contents incoming) to cheaters/hackers which is give even worse frustration in combination with persistence javir effect to all playerbase.

The game is definitely fun. Been playing f2p for since it launched in US. If you are doing f2p be patient or you will quit fast. Guilds def help with more activities. Plus things are way too expensive to turn into a whale.
i was starting to think with all the stuff they have available now and adding cross worlds. there might be a pretty big learning curve now learning all the new stuff there is to do and just the vast amount of dailies as well as doing main quest.
So I've read through some of the comments here and I feel let down. As someone who really enjoyed and loved the franchise for its first 2 games, Cross Worlds being strictly MMO is something that stops me from diving in. And yet, I am still somehow hoping to experience it or at least for the developers to release a new Ni No Kuni game that is a direct successor of the first 2.

I quit because my server had massive pvp griefing where the top players on the server would log in, and kill everyone on every floor of chaos fields, 2 or 3 times in a row, and then log off to come back in a couple hours to do it again. Afk farming was at best 2 hours long before you were killed. Aside from blocking exp farming, this blocked territe farming.

This happens on many servers. The massive PKing is mostly over with now I would say.
come to Rubi taurus , that doesnt happen here, it a very friendly server.
but in my case im kinda boring since its nothing to do so i just do the minimum activiy waiting for new content.
@@nicomadox Doubt anyone will switch since you have to start a new character if you wanna switch servers (for now, at least until maybe there will be server merges or they give us a way to transfer our characters) but yea most of the exciting stuff only happens if you're in one of the top guilds

Cross fields for me made the game more interesting for me and I found myself enjoying the game like I did at launch.
I like cross fields but I dislike the time restriction.
If you are not competitive player and just want to enjoy Ghibli style design, You should play NNKCW. The WORST part of this game is dev do nothing about cheater. Cheater enjoy reward from lava valley and team temple arena since SS1 until now.
Territe arguably could be pretty bad/frustrating but yah.
I'd say for new and returning players, it's pretty fun to play if you really just want to have fun and enjoy the content, specially if you have a good guild/friends. It will get pretty stressful if you try to aim for the rankings since it's mostly luck based or pay-to-win. And tbh if you get over the hate of javir you'll see that it's okay, if everyone just get success on upgrades everytime then all players will probably be at +99 already right? how boring would that be.

personal summary don't play this game if you didn't play from the first 2 months you're too far behind and will have to spend a lot of money to catch up otherwise you will always be destroyed by much higher players. this game won story of they year but I have no idea how the story was mediocre at best I only did it for the rewards and occasional fighting cutscene. also the main story isn't even finished its locked behind updates.

Jade Virgo here. There is a bunch of people from one KD who started PK people when they were the top of the server. problem was nobody even knew pk was a thing so more than half the server quit. They calm down maybe because christmas is here or because they need help for cross field xD, but i truly get the same feeling about the vibe than when we started the server. but just a bunch of high cp player. pretty chill if you ask me now, but i could def write a novel with all the drama that happend cauz i was either first row or on stage xD
I would love to play this game more but the crypto currency, auto battling, reusing music from old games and all just really turns me away
The music is definitely weird. Most mobile games have their own soundtracks.
Already quit NNK last month because of cursing, my +55 necklace and +48 Earth weapon became +25 and +28 which was really depressing since I've have grinded those materials for months only for my character to get weaker and get kick out in the rankings so I quit.

this game is not worth any penny because if you didnt play early and didnt get the other event you wont be able to get in a top 100 in fam arena or other rankings
Im still playing up to this date but i wont recommend this game to newer players as the developers aren't changing the cursing system yet.
It's actually a very f2p friendly game. They can easily catch up and if they have decent luck they can easily beat those unlucky spenders.

Nah Diggs. I've left last week and have been checking out other games...
the only way is f2p, - never donate, game turned into huge crypto currency scam pyramide, tetra puzzle-fam toys now share same, hidden, ugly % ot sucess as cursing, alots of undocumented changes which is extremely hostile to players - devs just trying to milk money. bigges issue it;s 200 days without content and just now new content is announced - unfortunately, you will complete it in 1 week, and what next? next 200 days? game is dead already.
I think its worth, but just be a smart spender, cause i got 3.5 m, just being f2p , and i still can compete , true a big whale can have a very high cp like 6 mil more, but its not to many of them on the server, and the reward from nnk is begin to better n better, so i think its still worth
Its all about money Ninukuni. To be Top 1 i play the game 24 hr in day one. It's not worth playing if you're not spending money in the game. For new competitive players don't play the game specially for F2P

How do you deplete so much of your territe energy? I'm over level 100 and still can't even farm my daily amount in a day with my best element... Are you using territe boosts or something?
100% sure with the territe boost. and never for a second going out on your farm area.
Territe pack. 5usd/28 days. Its a nice deal to pp have less time online like me.

If I can go back and tell myself I'd say big NO. rn I just keep playing until I can find new game. Overall the game itself is just meh at this point. I mean there isn't much gameplay just farm materials to upgrade so you can be stronger in pvp contents and if you don't really into pvp then that's it. I do enjoy some pvp contents except guild war bc it always start bc some toxic players just being toxic.
What I really hate about this game is the match-up in 3v3 5v5 it's just plain stupid and frustrating, I really really hate it with passion. Also the territe problem that can fix only through paid package is just disgusting they added this crypto thing to the game and the only thing it did is creating burdens and problems and then we have to pay to fix it.
