Dan's band is Fearless. Orion's Reign is a Greek band. Dan was featured with them on an album+ several years ago. Those are O.R.'s fans. Yes, Dan Vasc is phenomenal. They made a great song better with symphonic metal and Dan's incredible voice. Thanks for the reaction!
Like you said, Dan really should be known to so many more people. He has got to be in at least the top 10 best vocalists in the world right now. He can do anything with his voice!

Dan worked with this group for about a year, I believe, but left to get back to his own music. As mentioned below, he worked on an album with them, singing the lead on almost all of the songs, and composing many of them, also. It is very good and the musicians in this band are very talented. They have a different lead singer now. I don't believe he ever received the credit he deserved for working with them. I am glad he chose to go back to his own career. And I agree with you, why hasn't the world discovered this amazingly skillful artist. I would love for you to react to his cover of Battle Hymn by Manowar. If you aren't ready to follow him into battle after hearing it, then you must not be human. LOL. Thanks for your great reaction and respect for Dan Vasc.

If memory serves, Dan left them when they decided to sign on with a record label. He had been basically a "studio singer" for them and they listed him as part of the band while he was with them, but he is against record labels and their unfair contracts. It's why he is independent.

You've probably noticed that Dan is meticulous and generous about giving credit to anyone who appears on or works on his videos in any way. I suspect it's partly due to his years as an unappreciated and often-uncredited session singer. Next Christmas you'll have to take a look at a few Christmas songs that Orion's Reign did, with Dan and Minniva, who also used to work with them from time to time. Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. They're both energetic and lots of fun, and definitely worth a listen, if only to hear Dan Vasc singing "rooty-toot-toot and rummy-tum-tum"! Thanks for another great review.

Dan used to be in Orians Rein he is featured as a band member he now has his own as you well know Fearless You just can’t go wrong with Dan you know Dan just got his One Million mark last week he deserves 10 million he is world wide
6.30am and listening to this here in a very wet UK. Orion's Reign are really good, Dan sang duets with some of the female lead singers, and was lead male singer for a while. Not bad when you consider the band and students were in Greece and Dan was in Brazil.. always amazed by the video editing.. loved it Thank you so much for reacting

I do the same thing. Watch only when Dan is on the panel. Maybe he is gay or at least "fluid" like my daughter says. Which means bisexual in the old days. I don't care. None of my business. Just hope he's careful. I lost my brother to AIDS.
Glad to see you reviewing this song. I found it late in my trip down the Dan Vasc rabbithole but it's one of my favorites. Orion's Reign is a Greek band and the extras in this video are local Greek students. Dan's Brazilian band is named Fearless.
This was great! Your double take when you saw Dan was priceless. The way I understand it, Dan was doing session work at the time and was considered part of Orion's Reign. He did one album with them - Scores of War. I think Orion's Reign was out of Greece and the fans are from Greece.

Around 2016/17 Dan joined the band Orion´s Reign for about a year as their lead singer. On their album "Scores of War" he sings most of the songs.
I agree, Dan should be a household name.
He did finally reach his 1 million subscribers goal, let's get busy & get him to at least 2ml.

Great reaction. Although I think Dan would like more subscribers, I think he is pretty much where he wants to be right now. He is choosing what and when he wants to sing and answers to no one, no "gatekeepers" as he said. He equates signing with a recording company as being an employee and he prefers doing his own thing.

Great reaction. Dan used to do session work to help pay the bills. He did a lot of session work for Orion's Reign -- so much so that they even listed him as their lead singer for a couple of years, which he allowed because he didn't mind. As you can see, Orion's Reign + Dan Vasc was magic!

Another one you might not find easily where Dan performed as lead singer in a band not his own is Where the Eagles Fly by Confessori, another Brazilian band headed by ex-Angra drummer Ricardo Confessori. Dan is a huge Angra fan and has performed with other ex-members of that group.

If you want to hear crazy range in vocals I highly suggest listening to King Diamond. Also if you want to compare a band that rotated members enough to where it split in half and play the same song. Judas Priest and KK priest both have a version of Painkiller that you can compare and contrast.

Personally, I enjoy AC/DC's version more. I am a huge fan of Dan's and I prefer what Dan does to songs quite often over the originals, but for this one, AC/DC's version brings more oomph! ...imho.
