Ahh i have seen people discuss this military service problem so many times. I have heard couples mostly break up when guys are in military in Korea. Sad feels. They can never have stable relationship around that age then 🤔
im not from korea but i am in a country where military is a must.. and my previous relationship my bf was in the military when we dated but we started dating in highschool. the issue was basically staying apart from eachother and we slowly drifted away

Yes it is mandatory for all Korea men to serve in the military at some point between the age of 18-28. They serve for a minimum of 18 months and can get out then.
i feel like that‘s also why for girls it‘s hard to find a bf around that age in korea, because guys don‘t even want to have a committed relationship hence they still have to go to military. i feel like korea needs to change their regulations and make military service optional...
