Thank you so much sis.
ELVIS still the KING....Thank you....Was he not gorgous or what.....
Elvis was very young. One of his best movies. Beautiful duet and he looked so relaxed. Loved the intro of the New Orleans street venders singing about their merchandise. The music and the diverse vocals so clear. ❤❤❤
I'd date/marry the fish lady... good singing partner!
Um espetáculo!
That Lady was Kelly White... Also an amazing voice
only Elvis could make a song about a crawfish sound cool
Lol, so true, appreciate the visit.
Great reaction
King Creole 1958. The year I was born. I watched it on TV in the 60’s
Elvis could sing anything and mesmerized u.
Indeed, thank for the visit, appreciate it.
New Orleans...Dear
Superb video - thank you!
This was Elvis' first duet of any description and took place during the opening scene of his fourth movie "King Creole" and involved jazz singer Kitty White (real name Jean "Kitty" Bilbrew). It was written by Elvis soundtrack regulars Fred Wise (lyrics) and Ben Weisman (music) and was the final song recorded during the first day of soundtrack recordings for the movie on 15 January 1958.
The master was achieved in seven takes with the final take chosen as the master but unfortunately only variations of that final take exist with all existence of the previous six takes seemingly erased from existence.
The original undubbed master lasted for two minutes forty five but this was edited by almost a minute to one fifty for the final master but the movie version would last one fifty seven and included extra vocals.
Thank for the info & for the visit appreciate it.
@tintinesk aww thank you, appreciate it.
music that would put a smile on the face and purer than what we have now. evolution can be dumb
kING cREOLE -1958
Thank for stopping by Victor.
It's the opening scene on King Creole great film some great songs in it as well Kitty White was the lady singer who sang with his voice was just perfect stay safe 😷✌
Thank for the info Kathy, have a blessed day.
Nice and amazing sweet voice
Hi beautiful sister it was nice
Thank you so much sis.
What a very nice reaction
Such a mesmerizing and great voice 🙂 hi SuperMom! 👋
Appreciate support guys.
1958
Love this song
It's not about a seafood platter
The opening shows you it’s from the 1958 movie King Creole...and this song is about crawfish not catfish...big difference...but don’t fret Elvis does mention catfish in the song title King Creole...Oh, and the lady singing along is Kitty White
My 2nd favorite movie scene
What about the First ?
Yes. Our European Crayfish (the same species) season just started this week. Toast, dill, lemon and snaps. I guess the Cajun way is a bit different. 😁
Wonderful video like friend 👍👋
Elvis was one of the greatest artist who ever lived and he sang about Crawfish! LMAO 😂😂😂!
Yes he did lol, thank appreciate the visit.
It had to be done...
This movie has some good songs. Another one that I like is " Trouble"
You're too funny
🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
Classic . Great video . Nice reaction too 💕💕
Elvis hated most of the songs they made him sing in the movies. This is one of them.
Oh wow aww he did? Appreciate the visit.
You’re wrong when it comes to King Creole. Elvis was proud of this film and said it was his favorite. Yes, Elvis wasn’t happy with much of his film work but King Creole was a notable exception.
Absolutly and totally wrong!
Besides he loved this movie, he loved the songs!
King Creole, Hard Headed Women, Don't Ask Me Why and especially Trouble were songs he absolutly loved. Take a look at the '68 CBS, there he sings Trouble in three different versions. I don't think he would have done that, if he didn't like this song!
Btw, than he would have hated Love Me Tender, Jailhouse Rock, Treat Me Nice, Can't Help Falling In Love, Viva Las Vegas, Let Us Pray, Clean Up Your Own Backyard,
A Little Less Conversation and, and and. I could go on and on!
He hated a lot of his movies, but there are a lot he liked very much, as well as the songs!
I`m referring to what they say in this documentary from 18:42
czcams.com/video/DmiSKqm1yQM/video.html
And other quotes from his friends. Some of the songs he did like- as for example songs he did outside the movies.
But Crawfish...? No WAY!

The interviews are more in a common way in that documentary,
they say nothing about "Crawfish" in special. And your comment also was a statement in a common way.
Maybe he liked "Crawfish " , maybe not, i couldn't find an answer.
But concerning all the other movie songs, he loved a lot of them! Especially in the early years and the last two years !
I mentioned the songs he liked most and which had a huge success.
Which isn't the same of course!
Although the duet with Kitty White is a great vocal piece, i agree with you that this song is not one of my favorites. And now i have to stop because there is somebody in this YT universe who loves the song! 😉
I hope i could explain myself
All the best for you from Alamea ☀️
Terrible song
1958
Appreciate the visit.
