BIM Rants: Stop focusing on the How and Think about the What

There are so many potential benefits that can be realised by well-implemented and executed BIM processes. The problem is that with the industry the size that it is, it is really hard to achieve best practices across all of the relevant actors in the delivery and operations of a built asset.
Nathan's BIM Rant for this week focuses on the issues we face currently with BIM Information Requirements being separate from traditional deliverables. Is the reason we are not seeing change, because the new tech advisors don't have a knowledge or interest in the other deliverables, or is it that the asset owner doesn't think they are both as important as each other, and should be put together.
