That is absolutely awesome. I've just held a ruler up to my lower eyelid and slid a credit card away from me on top of it. It doesn't focus until nearly 11.5 inches. I've just ordered a pair of these not 45 minutes ago and completely glossed over the fact that my vision isnt what it was but I don't wear glasses and don't need them for reading at normal distances, but the fresnel is much closer than that.
I bought the eachines and I love them because you can record and play back on the headset, as a matter of fact I have not updated because they are so great.
Thanks for the upload! I can see clearly now after removing the protective film and installing the specs inside just like you showed!!! Perfect!!! I was able to stretch/fold the cushioning and get them in w/o removing it. I also installed the nose piece/light guard mod as well, But I recommend not using super glue, as I did, on the foam nose piece or at the very least wear a respirator, eye protection, and keep away for a good long while in order for the glue and foam dry as the glue melts the foam a bit releasing toxic/noxious fumes. So far I'm loving the headset before the mods (all but two flights)Seems great for me to learn on before plunging myself and my wallet deeper into the chasm of FPV. Cant wait to fly some more, Damn Wind! It's a real pain in the you know what to try and learn fpv with wind gusts of 20+ mph. Now bring on the nice flying weather already damit!

Funny how you're in a different country but have the exact same pair of glasses fitted in there. Only I clipped of the hinges too and pressed them in there without taking the goggles apart. Was thinking about upgrading from my old EV800 to diversity but after reading the comments here it's not gonna be this one.

Have you considered using front connect reading glasses? After snipping the arms down, each half could go in separately and then magnetically join together without taking unit apart.You should be able to easily remove them for cleaning. I think I may try it out on my Virhuck goggles.
I bought some of these and opened them up. They don't have true receiver diversity like the Eachine. It is just antenna diversity. The main board only has one receiver. The builtin DVR is also lower quality than Eachine. These are the same as the Redpawz version.
I have some trouble with the DVR, sometimes it skips image backwards, or shows some de-interlaced image. Doesn't happen all the time, and tried different sd cards too. Any ideas?
GREAT review (and mod). Just getting into the FPV for "simple " fun. I have a Bwhoop B03 and looking for goggles of this type - inexpensive, DVR, removable face. Curious about the center screen graphic? Does that stay on or can it be turned off. Also, did notice some "reception static" - is this normal?
Thanks glad you enjoyed it. The graphics are set in Betaflight and will not show unless you turn them on, most quads don't have the OSD (On Screen Display) Yes you will get static, depends on flying environment, distance, obstacles and antenna used, happy FPVing
One more concern as I look at other reviews. Some are complaining about the "black" screen with field of vision. They move the unit side to side losing the video? No idea if this is a flaw or the way they are presenting this? (not a true test?) My only grief deciding on type of FPV goggles - cannot try them on.
My view on this is I never noticed it when i did the review and have used them loads of times with no issues, you can see how well you can fly with them. Yes if you close one eye there is a difference, but they are designed for binocular vision, hence I have no issue with them. Only you can make the final decision, my honest opinion is I like them and they work ;-) hope that helps

Tigger's RC Reviews another question, do you have the same problem as the other channels: if you view the monitor from the right side it's almost completely black, and if you watch from the left its normal. So your right eye seed worse than your left.

oh, interesting.... i'm just hovering over the ''buy'' button on the eachine version. i got the runcam split, its giving me issues with dropped recordings and i dont quite trust it yet, and i tried to fix jello and absolutely everything i did made more jello.... still having fun though, mostly fpv now,.. the runcam fpv signal is pretty nice, i mean nice as in i stopped to watch the sunset in fpv.
If you need 4:3 then Eachine it is, but the price difference would get me to go for these, starting to enjoy the FPV more, it's as addictive as the RC hobby! Cheers
yeah your ''proximity flying'' has turned into racing mini style hehehe. i'm about 50 batteries into fpv acro and now i have 6 batteries and two chargers i cant get out 3 or even 4 times a day if the weathers ok... also i just discovered tonight, my new runcam split works when its dark, even betterthan a dull overcast day.... Great review as always! I've also watched your Furibee VR01 review. What are your preferred FPV goggles? I've noticed a recent review on your channel that appeared to show yellow bindings around the front and side of your goggles. Or are they larger, Tigger Grade, elastic bands? :-)
I have several now and still reviews to come, I prefer these over the Furibee, but these things are personal of what you want from them. Hope that helps, they seem to be getting cheaper and better, lets hope that continues :-)

I tried my set for the first time today and very disappointed with the reception. Does it matter what side you have the Omni and flat antennas on? Had my Omni on right side and flat on left. Opposite of what you had. Could that make a difference? Thank you.

looking for the same answer. I have just talked with a guy who has had both and he sais that reception is worse on the no-brand one. if i have to say i would say they are the same. People don`t like admiting that the made a bad buy

Any idea where to find a replacement LCD screen for these? I have the same problem as many - defective screen - the left part is much darker than the right one. They have adjustable focus, which is a no brainier facility that should be on all future FPV goggles. (I was off to the pound shop after my holiday, to buy glasses for my future box goggles, so this looks like a good compromise!) My ls800d goggles are set to record at VGA quality 640x480. Is there anyway to change to better quality footage?

yeah, when I use both eyes, then it is the worst - makes me dizzy after a while.. not usable..
