South Africa and our people are faced with so many challenges, but when it comes to WC rugby, we're UNITED ❤. Rugby is the only sport that bring people together from all races. We're referred to as the rainbow🌈 nation. Mzanzi ❤️. Almost 2 weeks later, and Im still on a high😅, winning the WC was by far the best feeling ever. You guys should be here on 2027, for the next WC. Yes South Africa and New Zealand are basically the two best teams Rugby has ever seen. Both are from the Southern Hemisphere, Biggest Rivals in Rugby but both have the biggest respect for each other. Both South Africa and New Zealand were Criticised coming into the RWC 2023, everyone thought the Nothern Hemisphere teams (France, England, Ireland etc) will take the RWC this year. Both South Africa and New Zealand lost in the Group Stages but still managed to reach the Finals even though they were written off early into the World Cup. Currently South Africa is the best Team in the World. They won the RWC throphy 2 times in a row, combined 4. And behind them is the All Blacks with 3 thropy. Note they also won the world cup 2 times in a row, 2011 and 2015. So without a doubt South Africa is the best team in the World at the moment, And Zealand closely behind them. These two teams bring the best out if each other. Yes the other teams are good and do win them sometimes, But when it matters these two sides do not disappoint.
I am counting the days till we face NZ in the 6 nations. I feel we witnessed the begining of their redemption story. We the Springboks had to become the villains for NZ, France and England to have a redemption story. they going to give us the best Rugby we have ever seen for the next 4 years. ontop of all that the rest of the world will be out to prove a point by taking on the Best in the world

A big part of the South African DNA is from Asia! We're called the Rainbow Nation, bc we represent people of every colour and creed. Our strength is our diversity and our ability to love what is good in our country and people. This win meant a lot to a country that has many struggles and problems. It was the most representative team, the most historic and winning team, and they've given hope and inspiration to over 60 million people. The celebrations showed how we could come together without violence, looting, or any other stereotypes always given.

The best rugby match was in 1995 when Springboks (south Africa) and New Zealand played so this final was very special because this was the first time they played in the finals since 28 years ago , two powerful teams head to head once again and south Africans respect new Zealand considering the fact that NZL allowed players of color from SA to play for their national team during Apartheid so this was very special , two powerful teams playing a rugby world cup once again

When we won both of us were hugging each other and rolling on floor. The following year my black neighbour and I joined a group of white South Africans to watch the AFCON final. Included in the group were a German and Italian friends of mine. So what you have just said is bs.

President was so hyped that the Bokke (South Africa) won that he kept by his promise to give us a holiday (15 December)😁
People went crraazzzy. I could hear loud cheering and music from everywhere in my area. Then in the early hours I drove to a different area and it was the same there 😂 Just music and dancing and VERY happy South Africans. In some places, marches formed out of nowhere - a few people would start singing and moving together through the streets and then other people would keep joining as they passes. South Africa can CELEBRATE!

The reason the country comes together on occasions like this is it gives everyone hope. The people of South Africa have gone through so much adversity and have experienced huge challenges in their lives. The future looks bleak and this little GREEN Springbok shoot offers that collective relief that something amazing can be done, and the WIN makes everyone feel like they are winners and part of something. It's a collective and it's euphoric offering that relief and respite from their daily struggles. They also identify with the team members, some of which have also come from very hard backgrounds. Dude after the game we ran to a bridge over a big main road and we swung the flag over the bridge, screamed, blew a foghorn and people would hoot, they were hanging out their windows screaming with their own flags. Police cars hooting and putting their lights on, massive trucks hooting and all you could hear was the whole of Johannesburg partying. This country does it best.
not only did we beat them in rugby but also cricket and the sheep shearing championship lol which is wild seeing as how they have more sheep than people in their country

The 1st Rugby World Cup was in 1987 in which SA couldn't participate in due to political reasons, our 1st RWC that we could participated in, hosted and won was in 1995.

Im in SA, during every match, no1 could try sleeping even, with every point scored you help people cheering and screaming. With each match won the cheering was louder and cars hooting in the street at 11pm at night... celebrations at the airport with returning and trophy tour were just as lit

Rugby is the sport that unites all South Africans because we were only allowed to participate in the World Cup once apartheid was abolished. It United our country and still unites all our people no matter what colour or creed. 💪
