  • Over the weekend, there were numerous protests in Toronto, causing disruptions to public events.
Pro-Palestinian demonstrators interrupted a free skate event hosted by Mayor Olivia Chow on Sunday, calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. The crowd shouted at the mayor as she attempted to continue with her remarks.
In another incident, Toronto police officers were seen handing over coffee and treats to protestors, which sparked controversy.

Archeological evidence a conversion took place.
The Khazar "Moses coin" found in the Spillings Hoard and dated c. 800. It is inscribed with "Moses is the messenger of God" instead of the usual Muslim text "Muhammad is the messenger of God".
Jewish symbols - menorah, etrog and lulav, engraved on ancient Roman brick probably reused during early medieval period by Khazars, semi-nomadic Turkic people from eastern Europe and central Asia.
This artifact was found in one of the graves at necropolis from early medieval period, 8th-9th century, at Čibska šuma archaeological site near Čelarevo, Bačka region, Vojvodina province, northern Serbia.
The brick is telling the less known story of Jewish nomads in Pannonian basin - during early medieval period, in 8th and 9th century, nomadic tribe which practiced Judaism settled in the Pannonian basin among Slavs and Avars. These people came from the east, along with Avars and settled in vast plains of Pannonian basin in present-day northern Serbia. It is assumed that they were members of the Khazars, semi-nomadic Turkic people from eastern Europe and central Asia, who adopted Judaism and moved to the west, to central Europe.
Here is one of their artifacts, ancient Roman brick reused by those nomads who engraved symbols of Judaism on it - menorah (seven-branched candelabrum), etrog and lulav, plants used during specific portions of the holiday prayers in Judaism. Also, on some bricks are engraved inscriptions translated as Jehuda or Yahweh and Israel. This is just one of many bricks from this site with these Jewish symbols.
An extensive DNA analysis conducted by a Israeli geneticist
Eran Elhaik, a geneticist at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, is calling for a rewrite of commonly held assumptions about Jewish ancestry. Instead of being primarily the descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel, present-day Jewish populations are, finds Elhaik, primarily the children of a Turkish people who lived in what is now Russia, north of Georgia, east of Ukraine. This civilization, the Khazars, converted from tribal religions to Judaism between the 7th and 9th centuries.
The complete data set contained 1287 unrelated individuals of 8 Jewish and 74 non-Jewish populations, genotyped over 531,315 autosomal single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). The author has applied a wide range of population genetic analyses to compare the two hypotheses and showed that a sole Judean ancestry cannot account for the vast population of Eastern European Jews in the beginning of the twentieth century without the major contribution of Judaized Khazars.

My take is most Canadians ( that includes our cops) are well intentioned; and just see this as a ‘democracy in action’ and we are used to ‘being nice’ as a people.
The law enforcement just needs more sensitivity training into how this is not just any protest asking for some form of justice; rather it’s a call for extermination/genocide against Israel and Jewish people all over the world. Literally a call for mass murder fuelled by religious hate. This is not a regular protest. We need to educate people more on this ❤

Same with some public spaces and private ones like shopping malls without permission or a permit. They also look the other way to violent acts they do during the protests so as to not inflame the situation. Or at least that's the excuse they give.

Protest routes are shared with the police ahead of time. It is ABSOLUTELY our legal right to protest.

Bringing wars from other countries by protesters running in the streets is not democracy but from a dictatorship from violent countries. Peaceful protests should be carried out in a convention center like political parties. Most civilized events are held indoors, hockey games/ football games are held indoors. This does not have anything to do with Canadian citizens not to mention the fact that what is going on in isreal and gaza is not a result of anything we have done. To be confronted and inconvenienced over an issue that was not caused by any of our actions is ridiculous. I “Hate” one thing and one thing only when it comes to this issue. Blind Hatred. I’m convinced there are allot of completely innocent people caught in the middle of this horrible fight. Helpless and powerless people on both sides.
Even pointing a finger of blame via the media is futile. It just fuels more hate. With emotions running this high for so many decades , there are bound to be individuals on both sides who are guilty of acting out of hatred instead of forgiveness. I do not envy anyone who is tasked with sorting out the sheep from the wolves in disguise and bringing those responsible to face justice.

    Should Israel halt the war?
I’m a Srilankan. It was the year 2009. The Sri Lankan government was fighting the LTTE.
The terror group had taken positions among civilians, even recruiting child soldiers and shooting dead any civilian who tried to leave the war zone.
The Sri Lankan government came under heavy pressure to halt the war because civilian casualties were mounting. But the army pressed on till the LTTE chief Prabhakaran was killed.
The result was not only peace, but also deliverance of the Tamil civilians from the grip of the terror group. Of course it came at the cost of huge civilian casualties.
This is the nature of modern assymetric warfare with terror groups. They position themselves among the civilians, while the army is unable to neutralise them without inflicting civilian casualties. And the media calls for ceasefire - the very thing the terrorists want in order to re-group, replenish and relaunch terror attacks ! (Exactly what happened during the 2 year ceasefire that ended in 2004)
Had my country Sri Lanka yielded to international pressure (including from the US) at that time, the LTTE chief would have survived and the war would have dragged on. In 2024, we may have still been counting casualties every week!
It is only because Prabhakaran was eliminated that the war in Sri Lanka came to an end.
This is the exact same story playing out in Palestine today and I’ve come to realize that Ceasefires don’t help bring peace, it only postpones civilian deaths to another date. Its been almost 15 years since the war ended and there haven’t been a single bomb blast initiated by LTTE, there haven’t been any civilian casualties, tourism is booming, there have been several peaceful elections and people in South live in peace with people in North. All because Srilankan government completely disregarded calls for ceasefire and pushed the war until the very end and completely wiped out the Terrorists.
