Soo glad you’re checking out some of the awesome cute blind box dolls from Kika goods ❤❤❤ Edit; also I don’t take the dolls apart for many of these blind box dolls beings as I’m not comfortable with the being able to string them back up again as well
These look like nice dolls for anyone unsure about managing the details of BJD dolls like stringing them or using eye putty. Mi and Re are my favorites. Mi is just perfect and I really like the pink eyelashes on Re. Instead of putty, this may sound cheap and silly, but stuffing a little bit of tissue paper or paper towel in a peg hole is an easy way to tighten a loose fit without doing anything permanent or leaving residue. It doesn't have to 'stick,' the idea is just to make the hole smaller while the pieces are together.
Very cute dolls. From what I have seen of other videos, the magnets are usually used to hold the face plate together, while giving easy access to the eyes.
It’s more common to use magnets to attach the face and horns ect but i know some dolls do use the tack to make the head stick usually if there’s a face plate. Most bjd don’t have face plates they have a head that opens up.
@@jiggerblayne I've seen that some bjds use magnets to hold the heads together, but I checked and they do not have a space for the magnet. These ones are supposed to clip together.
@@ChadMarvelous yah these are not those kinda bjd’s most bjd’s before kikagoods are 100’s to 1000’s of dollars and made of resin. It’s actually really cool that kika goods is making bjd’s that are more accessible. You had to jump through the hurdles of the cost, research, elitists, scams and waiting months. Kika good bjd’s are also way smaller then the typical bjd, their like 1/16 scale and most bjd are in 1/6, 1/4 or 1/3 one thirds are like carrying around a heavy child. If you’ve seen smart dolls they’re a 1/3 girl but there’s also 70cm man dolls.
Super cute super satisfying love the contents like the dolls they all r super adorable dolls omg hard to choose maybe I choose do I like the angel wing very much thanks for the super awesome videos I really enjoy it very much🙀😻💖💖💖🧚🙏🎉
I love the BJD from Kika. I only have one from a series. I only like the male dolls anyways I probably wouldn't buy the female characters unless the set included a boy. I love the pricing on these they are a good price for the quality you are getting
Odd question not related to this video. I can see items on UK Disney Store I want but they will not ship to US. How do other people order with them and have shipped to US?
@@audramcwilliams76 I couldn't tell you. I haven't figured that out. Unless they use a freight forwarder. Or maybe ship it to a friend in the UK and have them then ship it to the US?
Hello Chad! Thank you for the video! I bought a "La" doll, but i didn't find a magnet in the kit. Did you find it or not in your kit or maybe you know where can i buy magnet for this doll?😢
Do you have a plan for when the elastics eventually need to be replaced? I've been a bjd collector since 2009, but I've never restrung a tiny tiny tiny bjd like the ones kika goods has been peddling. Do they sell supplies for that? Or do you have to diy that yourself? Bjd elastics typically only last four-ish years under pressure.
@@ChadMarvelous I think YT deleted my very long reply when I tried to edit a single word. XP In short, the correct mm size cotton elastic strings are affordably available in craft stores, Amazon, etsy and lots of other places because they're also used in jewelry making and sewing. And the 16.5cm-18.5cm height KikaGoods estimates for these dolls is a common size range for BJDs, comparable to Fairyland's Pukifee at 15.5cm. So learning to restring your new BJDs should be NBD.
@@saralittle1823 hi where can i find magnet for this doll? I saw that the seller put magnet in the a hole in the top of the head, but i didn't find the magnet in the kit😓
