    i like the tutorial, i just don't understand why you are not plugging the count into the group input by dragging so everything will be setup automatically like integer + name at 2:38 and 2:50?

    10:05 I had a problem with this node, I don't know why. To solve it I put the 'capture attribute' after the 'realize instance' (and set the domain to spline) to get the splines to separate. But this doesn't work when you duplicate the coil spline node group.

    • @jissse3867
      @jissse3867 Před 2 lety

      Same here, although it does work on the duplicate once I put it after the realize instances like you did, thanks for the tip !

    • @joeNonos
      @joeNonos Před 2 lety

      Maybe ...
      The capture attribute retrieves the value of instance therefore the attribute takes the parameters "integer" and "instance" and not "spline".

    how did you learn about geometry nodes? Is this your hobby or?

  • @jayasuriyajm3029

    there is no instances in capture attribute in 3.0, i tried with points in capture attributes but the curves are connected by lines?
    please help

      I plugged the "index" directly into the "multiply" works for me. (3.3)

    Very interesting and not a "cooking tutorial" , the explanations are with the video.
