Was the first wood you chopped Sitka spruce.. horrible stuff to chop..pine sap everywhere 🙄

@@benscottwoodchopper cheers for that.. thought it looked like a bit of spruce 🤷 got given some chestnut in big rounds last year and it split really easily but spruce is an absolute nightmare to split when it's dried out 🙄only split it because my neighbour asked me as a favour in exchange for a steak and Guinness pie😋😋all the best Lincoln 👍🤙
