LORAfied Betty Crocker Cake Mix Hack:
1 Box Betty Crocker 13.25 oz (make as directed)
1 extra egg
1/2 package Vanilla pudding mix
Bake 325F for 14 mins or so

I'm glad you found a hack to fix this, but it's a shame consumers like us have to go an extra mile to reach similar quality as before.

Yeah. "spend more money" for quality doesn't really ring the same when the expected quality keeps diminishing.

I cannot bake many of the things I used to because of Shrinkflation.

Years ago cake mixes were 18.25 ounces. I'd rather they go up on the price than shrink the mix.
