During the recording of this version of “Kokopelli Hokakey!”, the OMNIA stage-set up was at it's most basic, just four of us playing with Flute, Didge, Drums, Voice and pure OMNIA Nature Energy...What a Party we had!
This video was filmed in Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Czech Republic during the OMNIA European tour of 2017
This track was recorded in front of a (very!) Live audience of wonderful OMNIA
fans in a completely jam-packed "Meat Factory" club in Prague (Czech Republic).

Love this band. They are amazing and I just can close my eyes and see elves, fairies, and other mystical magical beings dancing everywhere. Helped alot thru my awakening. Still watching in Sept. 2021

Even though I've gotten more into Metal and Rock, Omnia has stayed with me, something soft I can fall back to if I'm feeling off.

Good taste. I could almost say the same except I got tired od the "dark" side at some point hehe. Still I think I can appreciate good pieces like necrophagist or rotting christ but now finally I also can take it a bit less seriously :)
The main instrument is Traditional Slovak shepherds flute called Fujara :)

Hoka hey
"Hokahey" is a man's exclamation in Sioux, similar to the American expressions "Let's do it!" or "Let's roll!"
The reason people think it means "it's a good day to die" is that the Lakota Sioux leader Crazy Horse famously exhorted his troops "Hoka hey, today is a good day to die!" Which meant something like "Let's go men, today is a good day to die!"

Makes much better sense. Theatricals love to make things more Theatrical! And let's face it Omnia are Always Theatrical. I would Never rely on them for Facts or History though. Kind of the Buffalo Bill of alternative life. The band who are Eco warriors, wear skins and go dolphin watching when staying in 5 star Mexican Hotels. By they way, Never make Steve's vegan spinach pie, from way back when they were extolling veganism It was like eating rotting weeds on cardboard!
So are they back? After they said they had eschewed materialism and had gone off to live in a windmill or something?
One day they will wake up to the fact that they are basically just another band craving attention.
They would do much better if they admitted it ,because they are good! It is all this fake pagan eco stuff that annoys me. Always has.
They seem to have little knowledge of the things they sing about, it just sounds good, and makes us look good so chuck it in.
In reality I see them as a bunch of stoners who live in Holland who cobbled together a stage act to keep them in dope. they did good. It works in certain circles. None of them can actually play very well, the lyrics are nonsense but they look weird, so they keep their audience of Would Be weirdos entertained.
Today is a good day to apprehend your explanation literally wondering how deep you guys know about everything, my premonition is just shit.

If I remember right, Kokopelli was one of the sacred spirits of the Southwestern indigenous tribes. I could be wrong. My tribe is generally from Appalachia

He's a regular guy that is tasked with planting the seeds of all the life he carried in his backpack over from the previous world. I guess a lot of Navajo are rolling their eyes when they hear this.
FunFact: Omnia got into trouble for removing stones from a native american sacred site and taking them with them. I guess that tells you a lot. I love most of their instrumentals, but as soon as they open their mouths i just want to run away.

Kokopelli is a figure of unknown origin found on petroglyphs in the Southwest U.S. "Hoka Hey" is from the Lakota Sioux language in (now) S. Dakota. That's quite the mixture. :)
