March 29-31 is when I went. The indoor water park was awesome. The storm chaser freaked me out.
The runaway canyon was soooo fun. Trail twisters was one of my favorites. The orange and red one i didn’t ride.
I recommend the food there too. It’s really yummy and drinks don’t taste bleh.
If you are going to Wilderness At The Smokies, it was the funniest thing I’ve done so far in 2024.
That intro music drops on my living room subwoofer caught me by surprise

Thank you for sharing this! I stayed here for 2 nights one February for my grandsons b.day and we got our room for $99. a night it was the resort connecting with the indoor water park since the out door ones are closed in the colder mos, I got the room that only had a sofa bed and a Murphy bed so I could have a kitchen and we cooked to save $$ but after seeing this it helps me in my decision making for the extra cost in the warmer mos with the outdoor water parks being open

Great video! And what is always my favorite is your guys reviews. You speak the truth on your experience and you don't sugar coat nothing at all. Not many I can say do that. And yesterday the waterpark there is so amazing. Never been on the outside part just the inside when they use to do local deal's just to go to the indoor waterpark it was like 5 dollars I believe it was. They haven't done it since I think like 2018. And it was like around the end of Oct around the beginning of Nov. Hopefully they bring it back someday.
That is an amazing deal hopefully they do it again sometime we would absolutely be there

This is our boys favorite place to stay in Pigeon Forge. The rooms are ok at best but the water parks make up for it. Great review stay safe y'all 🙏❤

We never stay in that building, we always stay in the main building. the rooms are bigger, and they have bunkbeds for the kids, and big bathrooms. We have always had nothing but a fantastic experience. This year was our 5th year staying there.

We went for 1 night memorial weekend yes check in is 4 but you can go as soon as noon n go swimming n stuff it says right on the website n u can stay til it closes the day u check out we also used Groupon

I've taken my family to the wilderness over 50 times and I had no idea they had rooms without a full kitchen inside the room.

Wilderness At The Smokies is our Great Wolf Lodge up here in Massachusetts same exact set up, but I'm pretty sure it's owned by Great Wolf Lodge. If you guys loved this place you would love Great Wolf Lodge they have them all over the country and even Canada. That microwave is not good any manager would send the housekeepers back in and make sure it was cleaned right. I love those water slides that go from the inside to the outside and back in it's awesome. Yeah evidently they didn't know what they were doing, because they usually test everything before it opens to the public to make sure nothing malfunctions and if it does it's down until maintenance fixes it.
Agreed with all your comments and the girls have been wanting to go to a great wolf lodge forever. I’m pretty sure there is one by kings island so maybe we will try it out when we go to kings island this fall :)

I went there last year it’s actually a very amazing hotel in my opinion the rooms are based off how much u pay for the room so the more u pay the better of a room u get

We read those too and I was scared. The hallways are absolutely loud but for whatever reason once we got in the room we never heard anything. Keegan did tell me she thought the bed was a bit uncomfortable I think she forgot to mention that in the review though

We stayed in one of the suites here through Club Wyndham with 2 bedrooms and it was a lot different than the regular rooms. Unfortunately we were there right before the outdoor pools opened. We had fun at the arcades and we did the pottery painting. My niece enjoyed the indoor pool area.

@@SmokyMountainFamily yah. I liked it. I painted a little turtle. It was about $30. A whole family can get pricey. My sister her fiancée and their 4 year old was like $100. It also depends on the size of the thing you pick to paint.

We love this place. Beds were alittle hard to us but the resort is nice and the soaky mountain water park across the street is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The Wyndham rooms are nice too. The river lodge is great and everything is over there so you don’t have to take shuttles to everything which is nice. But try soaky mountain water park. It’s amazing, but they would not let us film there. We could last year but this year they said no go pros.
That’s good to know because Jaycee wants to come back here for her birthday this winter. We are going to Soaky mountain soon can’t wait

I feel like this is a fair review. We stayed there in 2021 at the Stone Hill Lodge and everything you said is accurate about it all. The rooms are meh but the water park, arcade and eating areas are fun for all ages. We will probably go back in a year or two! Thanks for making great videos.

Thank you for reviewing. We were there last week for 6 nights. We always get a 2 BR condo through Wyndham. Their check in is much better than the Wilderness.This time we had a pool view. The condos are bright and lots of light and plugs. Very clean. I was curious about the rooms in case I wanted to come with just my grandson.
Wilderness is our go to place. This year was our 5th year. We always stay in the main building, and either do the condo size suite, which is nice. This year we did the room in the main building, with outdoor waterpark view. It has bunkbeds for the kids, and a queen size bed. We do the special right at the beginning of June, Soaky Mountain is included at that time. You just have to watch for the specials. They have them in the Spring, as well at the beginning of summer, and end of summer. We love it.

Thanks so much for joining us. Most outdoor water parks, to our knowledge, are closed during the time frame you specified. However, Wilderness of the Smokies is open during that time and we love it!

I’ve seen this advertised as being “a good deal” but people actually say it’s “okay” and the time-share association is just shady. Some complaints I’ve heard are low quality rooms, keys don’t work, and that there are just kids everywhere, as if you are staying at a water park rather than there just being a small water park at the hotel.
As we stated in our review it varies. Depending on which rooms you stay with. Our Christmas video we had a much better experience as it was a different location and company
PLEASE GO TO WALT DISNEY WORLD🏰♥️🏰 in Orlando Florida and do some good videos from there, and stay at a Disney Resort!!!
Late fall is a great time to go. I’ve been 64 times and I live beside Chattanooga Tennessee actually in Georgia and everyone knows me as WILDWOMAN. You guys would increase your audience so much if you can travel some and so different videos, bc you do a good job.

I don't think I knew you got the GoPro9. Front screen working for you? The room was dark and one plug? For real? Someone cooked some beans up in that micajave. There were no less than a quarter billion people there.
Front screen is working! After two 8’s that were nearly unusable the 9 has been a beast!
Thanks for your review. I had always wondered about this place, but from what i saw, the room rated a 4. Imo, you paid $300 to use the waterpark and have a place to lay your head. Maybe i'm just jealous because i can no long enjoy the water, especially the lazy river. :)

I've always wondered what the Non-Wyndham timeshare rooms looked like because I've heard they were really small. The rooms near their water slides I think are all managed and rented through Wyndham Timeshares. We've stayed twice and they are really beautiful and huge. I had read some of the non- Wyndham rooms even have Murphy beds instead of actual beds like your room had. That microwave in your room though, I would have called and asked for another microwave if we had any intentions to possibly use it, might have called either way to complain. Gross.
