This is just wonderful! As Melanie says it is totally freeing! I have been studying at an atelier and it tends to make you concentrate more on extreme detail but this makes art more fun!

I'm Susan De Nadal from Westport MA. I usually stick to watercolor for plein air and save knife and oil painting for the home studio, cuz I have to borrow my mother's car for transport and god forbid I get oil paint on her car interior or trunk. I wouldn't see tomorrow.
