This fighting game is WAY BETTER than the fighting games of today in my honest opinion! So much heart and soul was invested into this game! CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!

First fighting game I've ever met that has characters using such relatively little known and yet so interesting styles like Bajiquan or Tiger Swallow Kung fu, this is really a great martial arts game, difficult to master but rewarding when you learn to play it, there's nothing like this nowadays.

I love virtua fighter it is just deep fighting strategy, no endless juggle combos, no supermoves that kills instantly, no demons and angels shooting lazers from their eyes no giant robots or lightsaber wielding cyborgs (despite the cyborg like final enemy which fights mostly like other fighters).

This was the best VF closely followed by VF5 Ultimate Showdown.

This is Virtua Fighter so no hitsparks that's just how the game is. Although if you pay attention you can see the character's bodies have lights on them when hit.
White lights: means a normal hit
Yellow Lights: means a counter hit
      Red Lights: means a stagger

I'm confused, this Virtua Fighter 4 game looks extremely similar to a different version of another Virtua Fighter 4 game that I remember. The other version had better music, better level design, but did not have Brad and Goh. Is this version of Virtua Fighter 4 suppose to be a improve updated version? If so, what's the deal with the music choice, the first version is way memorable than the newer bland music that replaced it.

I agree with you. The first version you are talking about is VF4, this one is VF4 Evo. They enhanced VF4 and released VF4 Evo a year later. But personally, I am with you and like VF4 a little bit more.

They're both kinda similar, but also different at the same time. Tekken is (to some extent) a button masher with flashy attacks and (mostly) fantasy style characters, while Virtua Fighter is a more grounded fighting game with more realistic characters (except for the final boss) and slighty slower gameplay.
