@@Hauntsome It's an outdated term. When these companies started doing 'sketch' cards that's what they were. Quick 5 minute pencil sketches. They have evolved into mini masterpieces with artist spending hours and hours on cards painting and doing more elaborate work. The term 'sketch doesn't fit anymore, its insulting. I know that it's so deeply entrenched that it will be an impossible thing to change. I just thing Art Card is more fitting.
I work on this cards too,just for marvel though,and I never thought about it in that way.they should call them something different like Master pieces or something

I would hardly call them 'Sketches' I prefer the term 'Art Cards' being a artist who works on cards for various companies.
They are called sketch cards. It says it on the back of everyone of these cards lol
