I forgot how angry Giles used to get over challenges. There was a point in later series where he consciously decided to chill out a bit. I do enjoy listening to him but early Giles was very posh and easily angered. I'm glad he mellowed.
Before the Big Broadcast Corporation's Talentlessness Department brought with it the obligatory collection of chums who have a comfortable and permanent position in the state Commiedy club funded by Public pelf, this programme had a fair chance of being regularly entertaining, and even funny at times.
