Thanks for all these posts. I especially appreciate the generous notes in the description; I know that takes some time and mental energy. Thank you. I'm 65 years old, of at least half-decent upbringing, but I must confess to having a teenage boy moment with 'borborygm' / borborygmus. I guess some of us never grow all the way up.

2:53:06, I'm completely bewildered. Some episodes seem.to indicate that Nicholas makes more.money than the panelists for being chairman, which seems to imply he's rich, and on other occasions he gives off the impression that he's strapped for cash cuz of how much the BBC pay him for being chairman. I know these inconsistencies are meant to elicit laughs, but again it's a cade that when the panelists bring it uoz they get the laughs, but when Nick does... there's no reaction.

Wow I've never heard the My Word It's My Music. This is awesome! Thanks. Ok, I do have to say I think the six-song medley format was a bit of over-thinking. I am familiar with many of the pieces, but they went by so quickly, I couldn't name one before the next one (or two) went by. The panel(s) seemed to have some trouble with it too. I thought there would be some kind of mix of the two formats, ie how words of some sort would play into the history of musical works. But they just seem to switch back and forth from one to the other. Certainly not complaining, but I think there was a missed opportunity. References to a 'Lady Diana, English Rose' were a bit eerie.

Oh my lord the opening episode, i have never heard.so much arguing and so much Nick abuse before in my life. And for fucks sake, Nick goes off on Gyles with his scottish accent, and then admonishes him for challenging on cuckoo, admonishes him again for speaking too long im trying to establish his challenge despite the fact that nicholas was busy listening to derek.and martin amd kenneth yabbering on, and then when Gyles doesnt dispute a challenge made against him and Nick questions why, Gyles is all lile 'cuz theres only so many times you can bash your head against a brick wall' and Nick once again takes credit for the humor.generated by the comment with his 'oh i do give them marvelous cues dont i?'

1:17:18. 'These subtle allusions defeat me' Well just because YOU dont understand the subtly of things doesnt mean the person making the challenge is wrong. I hate this nonsense of saying 'he said [insert word here] x amount of times' and Nicholas claims he was counting and always says that someone only said whatever word ot was one less than the amount of times they were challenged on. Its aggravating because ir doesnt matter if someone said 'and' five times or four, REPETITION IS REPTITION! its just another case of Kenneth being allowed to get away with all kinds of bullshit.

What i find most annoying is how deviation is judged. In some cases you can be completely off it and not get the subject taken away, and other instamces you firmly establish a cinnection to what you are talking about with the subject and still get it taken away, like with Libhy and the subject of cards. She dwscribed the feeling of knowing people at a part when you pick up their cards is similar to playing Just a Minute and gets it wrongly taken away despite having established the connection.
